Hey Guys, I have a challenge for Baron in Ravenfield: He must play as different classes of soldiers and say which is his favorite at the end.
(Oh, Baron, remember the Binocs set a point on the map that makes your forces attack there) (also, I am not sure if the recent version of Ravenfield allows you to pick, “no weapon,” if not, just don’t use whatever it defaults to)
Here are the classes (there are 13):
1. Officer: no main weapon, revolver, medic bag, ammo bag, binoculars
2. Vehicle Crewman: no main weapon, pistol, medic bag, binoculars (you must start the game in a vehicle, but can abandon it at anytime)
3. Heavy Fire Support: HMG, no secondary, Ammo bag, Ammo bag, and…. how about an Ammo bag :)
4. Medic: no main weapon, a pistol, and three medic bags (Heal your team, Sir!)
5. Anti-Tank Team: any primary and secondary weapons you want, grenades, any anti-tank weapon you want
6. Standard Grunt: your pick, just no anti-tank weapons
7. Assassin: sniper rifle, silenced pistol, spearhead, medic bag, and either binocs, or Night Vision
8. Diplomat: nothing, see how long you survive :)
9. Specialist: Your pick of main weapon and one extra piece of equipment, silenced pistol, and SLAM-R
10. Saboteur: AK as main, silenced pistol, grenades, any Anti-tank weapon (try to sneak behind enemy lines and ambush them)
11. Spec Ops: (yes, I know there is a mode for this) the silenced machine gun (I forget its name right now), silenced pistol, spearhead, Medic bag, you get to choose your last item
12. Close-Quarters Assault: Shotgun, Revolver, Grenades x2, and Spearhead (get up close and personal)
13. The Thief/Troll (of every multiplayer war game ever made): Patriot, Revolver, Airhorns (try to steal enemy vehicles)

@BaronVonLetsPlay thank you for reading my suggestion and giving feedback keep up the good work. And the reason some of your troops can't move is because of the color of the flag if it's red you can't march to it even if the movment reads true.
this game has an amazing potential imagine better graphics as if real life it would become a bloody horror game lol

Baron you need to always use 3rd Stance while defending , last stance is the worse they focus fire and barely fire there guns , 3rd stance is a fire at will defensive stance so all of them open fire at max rate and kill much faster many bugs. Make sure all the units are on that stand and put them back on that stance to be sure all units are

Alright Baron, your the guy that got me interested in this game, and since I decided I wanted to experience more of it more quickly, I made a bit of a Sand-Box mod for it. Now, it only changes base resources, and would require a new campaign start, but it is only fair for you to see the fruits of what your videos have done. www.moddb.com/mods/sand-box-mode
Campaign is more than easy enough without adding in more resources. Just spam rifle men and you can deny the bugs easily. My armies generally consist of 1 supply truck, 1 sapper, 28 riflemen. Play at the 1 day setting since you don't need to unlock anything else and you can capture the entire house before the bugs are even at level 2.
Once at level 2, that build doesn't wok at all. I wanted to experience the more difficult waves as well, so there is enough resources to last.
Of course. Good for just messing around with units. I do similar where I put it at 3 days so I can get lots of xp and try out the different trees and see how effective they are.
Can't wait for the obligatory Vietnam edition of this game :)

Things I want in this game:
- Bigger deployment area
- Automation of supply trucks ammo so they return to base and to their previous position automatically
-Total War like move orders, so we can where each soldier will go
Also, can you pause the game and order your troops to move? And maybe you should use the slider to increase amounts of soldiers in screen
1 king scorpion and 20 normal and 100 ants vs any troops you want (least have 1 paratrooper unit) max of 400 units you can have
get snipers
Drive some cool stuff like the planes and mechs
whoever said artillery is dumb... artillery is horrible in this game. they don't do enough damage, cost to much... get killed way to easy... so ya you should rush mech then go for aircrafts
the first howitzer is great vs Tier 1 and 2 bugs, you need like 8-10 of them to do a good barrage of shells and keep them in the back line with some recon vehicules and riflemen at the front line to kill those who get through, trust me i played the game a bunch, and things get better once you get 320mm artillery with even bigger shells. You also need some supply trucks to refill there ammo. ive killed 5200 ants in 1 battle with these units and artillery did the most damage and kills. Same against bug army when they had grasshoper and cockroach.
A random battle suggestion I thought about.
Settings:
Gamemode: Defend the Allied base
BP (Battle Points): Very High (You cannot put in your own number because it won't let you yet.)
Map: Narrow Hallway
Rules:
Use whatever positions you need to defeat the enemies.
You can only control Flamethrower Infantry, Big Gun and Assault Troops.
Allied:
5 Armored Airships
1 Big Gun
500 Light Anti-Aircraft
500 Light Helicopters
100 Flamethrower Infantry
10 Random Airplane Units
700 Assault Troops
10 Supply Copters
20 Supply Trucks

Bugs:
10 Biggest spiders
1000 Of any flying Unit
1 Gigantus Something (Forgot the last word, strongest on bugs team.)

YOU GOTTA USE UR SAPPERS TROOPS (may have misspelled) TO DESTROY THEIR MOUNT. there's a TNT option button when ur troop is close to the mount. AND EACH ROOM HAS DIFFERENT BATTLES, that ammo sign on ur troops means it needs ammo, ur supply trucks give them ammo but you have to keep buying ammo for the trucks, also 2 sappers will be the best way to use you dont need a lot of them. and click on ur troops there a little options on the left side, you can order them to move around and battle they'll do it by them self's

1. Join the Ravens
2. Kill 5 Raven Helicopters
3. Kill 10 Raven Planes
4. Kill 5 Raven Tanks
5. Kill every person you see on the Raven team
6. Keep playing this awesome game
New unit: Supply runners run supplies back and forth
you know if the owner of this house wasn't so damn dirty we wouldn't even have to fight the bugs even then if we have been with the owner for a while why do we barely have any buildings shouldn't we have more buildings due to the fact we have been in side with resources longer then the bugs and even then we are plastic and not bugs who take literal weeks to months to be born since we are plastic our men should be in bigger numbers considering if we get like a 3-D printer we can mass produce like 8000 soldiers per minute not to mention the face we are building literal bombs and satellites we should be able to mass produce our soldiers at the very least 10x faster than the bugs and even then the plastic bullets that have to fire fast enough to even harm the bugs at that point would be going so fast that they could probably knock the bugs back a few cm and at the rate they fire the bugs wouldn't even be able to reach them and even then most of the bugs used are either hostile to each other or don't like each other to the point that most of these army's they use would tear themselves apart. even if we ignore this even if we ignore all that most of the bugs who harmed us would either ignore us since we are plastic and they just consider us a object that they climb over and while some bugs like ants can tear us apart and spiders can use there stomach acids to melt the plastic things like grass hoppers and mosquitoes have nothing to harm us and at best would just be able to knock us over. but the biggest part that ticks me off about all of this is that quite literally for days on end the owners of the god damn house LEAVE THE DAMN DOORS OPEN TI EVERYTHING 24-7 AND obviously they still live in there and restock it main evidence for this is that like 7 days later the bugs can still find fresh food at which by then they would of rotted or got consumed along with that don't call a exterminator since at most the bugs would only stay there for like 2-3 days before they clean out the house and thats only part of the reason my true hate is that the owners don't do JACK SHIT about the bugs they just have to wait for the army men to deal with it and hell from all we know they may just be doing this to watch the two sides war since there's not damn way a corridor has enough plastic and shit to last like a week especially raw unprocessed metals and plastic.
who ever spent the time to read all this i applaud you for listening to me rant i originally planned this comment just to say we wouldn't have to deal with this if the owners where cleaner but then i started to rant
when it says 7.62 machine gun it means 7.62x51 nato... so not an AK round it's a full size rifle round... the ak fires 7.62x39mm so it's an intermediate round 🙄

BaronVonLetsPlay you should get the howitzer because it will be able to destroy the enemy before they come anyway that's what I recommend I don't think you will see this or reply to me so I'm just writing a useless comment anyway cya
don't retreat Baron!!!! If you choose to not retreat, it takes 3 turns for the bugs to take the place. Hence by not retreating, you'll make it so the bugs cannot move for three turns... Or at least that's what I'm assuming...

Remember baron the strategic bomber has A NAPALM STRIKE and the A-10 is great with ground targets so you should go down the air tech tree!
Baron here is what you should do the grass hoppers in the campaingh that you saw were already there you just didnt see it and why it did not attack because one of you troops were there keeping them waiting so here is what you should do summon scouts to cross the map and keep tye enemy from attacking and just retreting that would give you enough time to make an army

Air craft would be good against fly’s
I saw this in another idea and it's a friendly tip that you use the sappers to take out the enemy outpost(ant hill) that way you do not lose any more resources to the ants

Baron if you kill all the bugs in one battle then move the sappers to the enemy mound and use the sappers dynamite ability to destroy the mound
baron you have to make a sapper go next to the anthill and blow up some dynamite next to it to win the battle where you destroy the enemy outpost.
try to unlock the jets they are really good for shooting things down if you know how to control one
do a custom battle that is entirely artillery vs. slow, heavy enemy units (tarantulas, scorpions, etc.)
get the anti aircraft units, like with the snipers for infantry, it is the fastest way to get to war machine plus anti air is needed
Altierry is one of the most important weaponry to take out huge amounts of enemy by explosion

Baron, once the bugs are dead, use a unit's TNT on the ant mouns to blow it up

I have to say, the recon vehicles are useless, you will all ready know what your going to be up against by clicking on the swarm in the battle menu, plus, by the time you get your recon out in the field to see what the enemies have, you wont have enough time to set up your defense and position your army. If the developers would give more time to prepare unit positions it might be worth using to scout ahead before battle.

I hope in the future this game could grow to a more epic campaign where you can push into other neighbors territory till you have taken the entire block (with the roads being the borders) Perhaps you meet other groups when fighting, and perhaps you could choose diplomacy or war to defend the home. (the bugs are like the flood, where as you and the other armies are like the UNSC and the Covenant) Only using that as an example of the way it could end up, where the enemy of all (bugs, where all bugs are on the same team) is sometimes more dangerous then those who may seem more a threat.
Baron i think you have to send your troopt TO the ent mountain to attack . :P

I say try to get flamethrowers for crowd control on then get the light tank for the medium bugs and maybe either mortar or the heli my opinion though
to destroy the ant mountain you need the sapper
You only need one Sapper because it's quicker if you just keep placing things with one Sapper because your not wasting time finding and selecting the other sappers
So pick one Sapper and just keep placing things with the ONE Sapper and it's just so much quicker
You like killing ants and bugs huh... you might be suited for service in the earth defence force. Play earth defence force 4.1 shadow of a new despair. Fight dragons giant bugs. Godzilla and giant robots using army gear
is it just me? or does anyone else feel like they are in that bug war movie, where the military fights a bunch of big bugs on a different planet. it's a some what older movie.

Baron you play 2 much in the defense, it's a good way and all but you don't need to protect only the base, try to '' control ''more the battlefield, like the center of the map, also, the sapper is a must have in all fights, they can easily blow the ants spawn points.

You can destroy the enemy mound Baron. Its with the sapper. Make them go to the enemy mound and you will see a dynimite icon .on the bottom left. They will blow it up. More sappers, more damage.
