I like the idea of being able to do this type of thing without Photoshop, or some other specialty photo/video editing software. One less step and therefore less time staring at the computer screen!
You guys always inspire me!
Great video again!
Thank you for this! I'm working on a product video for an energy drink and this comes in handy!
Great to hear. Glad it was helpful!
Great tips, you can also use fishing line for....fishing! :-P
Boooring! ;)
18 seconds in? i have to watch It right now!
Peter McKinnon is great! However, this is more of a follow up to the quick tip I did last month about my fishing line box (ruclips.net/video/SnCGI2uQZuQ/видео.html). Plus, if you do it correctly, you won't have to edit out the line from the image or video. Thanks for watching!
So, I get using the finest line that will give you a safety factor, but do you have a post that talks about how to light it so that it doesn't show up? I cannot eliminate reflections...
If you are using clear fishing line it is almost impossible to get rid of reflections. You can us a black sharpie on the line to knock down the glare or use a brown or camouflage fishing line. Those hide a lot better. Also, don't cross light the fishing line. Try to aim the light down the fishing line from overhead. Softer light also helps.
@@TheSlantedLens Thanks! I wish there was flat fishing line so that I could orient it to avoid reflections. Also, I recall that somewhere there was available a dull matte finish line/cable that came in a variety of gray tones from white to gray to black. Do you know of these?
I used fishing line to slide a smartphone to the grass 4 Years ago in this Spot: vimeo.com/68938620
It was a pain in the ass to get the wires out in post, but the only way i could imagine not to have it animated.
Funny!
