Thank you so much! You explained the process so well!
THANK YOU!! The ONLY video that shows how to do one that is 18 oz. Because you flip it and gives times! SO excited!!
Hi I have problems with conical mug, have you some trick?
I haven't tried that type of mug yet. I'll have to experiment with one. You could always try to sublimate it in the oven or a toaster oven.
Hi, just wondering the purpose of the black silicone on the bottom? thanks ☺
Hi!! It's to protect the bottom from burning.
I bought a set of blue silicone but it didn’t come with the black piece is that okay ?
Yes. The black piece is from a silicone mat I bought separately. I just cut off a piece from that.
Do you use a Sublimation printer?
Yes. I have the Epson ET 2760. I just put sublimation ink in there. I use hippo sublimation ink
Thank you for the video! Do you peel it right away after you take it out of the mug press or do you wait until it cools down a bit?
I peel it right away.
@@Shidas_Craft_Corner Thank you so much for the response! I appreciate it.
@@wandering_boba you're so welcome!!!
Thank you for this great video, Shida. I was told by a craft "influencer" that you couldn't sublimate glass tumblers in the Cricut mug press. I didn't want to invest in another mug press just to make the glass ones.
Do you need a special printer for sublimation? Or which one do you recommend? Thank you
I have the Epson ET 2670. I use Hippo sublimation ink. You cannot use regular printer ink, you have to make sure it's sublimation ink. Hippo ink bottles are compatible with epson's attachments to refill the ink compartment.
Great explanations!
How can you know that the glass can be sublimated on. The workers never know at the store and its never ever written the glass. Thank you for your precious answer.
I specifically searched for sublimation glass tumblers. They'll have the special coating on them like sublimation mugs and tumblers. I made sure to read other people's reviews on them too. I put the Amazon link for these glass tumblers in the description. I hope this helped 😊
Beautiful!! We have those blanks too! Love your works!🥰
Thank you!!
does that silicone come with that mug press
No, I ordered it from Amazon. There's a link in the description box for them.
Great video! Where do you purchase the silicone you have in the heat press?
@KarenLeónMedia thank you!!! I got them off of Amazon. I put the link in the description box.
I have a question how did you made the third one and how is it transparent where there is no drawing?
I created it on canva. When I saved it, I made sure to save it with a transparent background. I then printed it out and sublimated it the same way I did the other two.
did you use a transparent back ground?
Yes.
Shida where did you purchase your glass tumblers from?
I got them off of Amazon. The link is in the description box.
@@Shidas_Craft_Corner OK thank you.
What size was the template for Canva ? Thanks.
Width: 9.75 inches. Height: 4.5 inches. I used the custom settings options in canva. I mentioned it briefly in the beginning of the video.
@@Shidas_Craft_Corner My phone audio was going in and out I so I wanted to make sure I got the correct measurements. Thanks again.
Oh bummer!!
You're welcome!!!
If I make a mistake n my image is really light and it just a 3-4inch print can I re sublimate with a full dark Wrap or black design
I've read that you can. I haven't actually tried it out for myself. If you try it, please let me know how it turned out!!!
I was using Cricut's infusible ink, not sublimation ink, but I think it would work the same way.
I managed to apply my image upside down (!), so I found another design with little openings in it; I used a black wrap and laid it over the messed up image and put it back in the mug press. When it was finished, the mistake image showed through the holes in the overlay design, and actually made for an interesting look, and it's now my husband's favorite mug!
@@GeoWhiz287 an unexpected masterpiece! I love it!!
The cork rounds from IKEA are great heat resistant mats
Turned out really good!
Hot peel or cold peel?
Hot peel
