An Amazing Spider-Man 3 would have been the perfect time to introduce Venom since Spider-Man would have been at his lowest. Easy for the symbiote to influence him to stop holding his punches.

*Toby M. Spider-Man was iconic (making us really believe in an actual Spiderman...kinda how M. Keaton did for Batman)

I remember people hating on Andrew Garfield’s TASM Movies and not giving his SpiderMan a second chance after Tom Holland took over the role. After No Way Home suddenly people loved his (Andrew’s) Peter Parker / SpiderMan. I was one of those few fans who still roots for Andrew’s SpiderMan a chance and it is so satisfying that he got the justice he deserves at No Way Home.

These people forgot the mess those Andrew Garfield movies were?
Sony was so desperate to create a Cinematic universe Amy Pascal and Avi Arad interfered on every single step shoving more and more characters, plus his ludicrous nonsensical parents storyline. No way ASM 3 would be a well written deeply personal movie. It would be more like a cosplayer comic con of characters jumping in without rhyme or reason much less a story arc.
Andrew Garfield is fine but the studio has proven over and over again it's ineptitude with live action Spider-Man movies and even scared talent away like Sam Raimi with constant interference.
