NMNM24: Women Pursuit Highlights

A marvellous women pursuit opened the sunday program of the BMW IBU World Championships of Nove Mesto na Morave. Julia Simon defended her title from 12 months ago with a stunning performance that allowed her to enjoy the final loop, while Lisa Vittozzi battled to keep Justine Braisaz-Bouchet behind for the silver medal.

Justine is too cerebral behind the rifle, and she has a lot of distracting thoughts on the 1st stand. She needs to get back into the spirit of Lanzerheim! Julia was still perfect, as was Lisa, but the sprint timer weighed heavily. Sophie's time will come. Well done girls for another great race!
