I would be tempted to use the stick clamp for the ground clamp ! The ground lead is very short.

Those are not actual buttons you are referring to. They are just a printed display showing the process of the welding I guess? I'm not really sure why they have that printed on there to be honest but they are not buttons and serve no function IMO.

Too bad Simder doesn't supply MiG settings. Not on the welder, not in the manual, not even on the website (where they direct you)
Just received upgraded (2024) version. MIG settings are on page 12 of operation manual. All other mode settings are covered.
