    That lead work may be relatively slow but it is more contextually conscious than most of the rapid-fire diddling around. How an unsuspecting wah pedal could effect the feel of a song is also a completely different issue..

      The solo is a masterpiece. The structure, the melody, the tapping technique... It's just fantastic. And well, I don't mind when a solo is slow but I don't find this one slow.

    What year was this? Nick Holmes' pitch is actually better than on the record even if he lost a lot of aggression. The guitar sound is phenomenal, though.

      April 12th, 2007. He has a great pitch now, but that boost is missing, yeah. I think, somehow, it made the song heavier.

    The song just isn't as powerful without the growl cause Holmes' pitch is too high compared to the chorus...and even there he's going off-key. The solo is perfect, though.
