It’s a Sri Lankan 🇱🇰 song sung in Sinhala by Sri Lankan singer Yohani. Sri Lanka and India are two completely independent countries just like Canada and USA. It’s not the same country just because it’s in the same continent! Sri Lankans speak Sinhala which is unique to Sri Lanka amongst many other things! You should react to the Sri Lankan song SAYANE sung by Hirushi.
This comment is nonsensical. Not just you but Lot of people here taking offense or troubled with justin's characterization of Sinhala as Indian. Reality is it sounds 'Indian' because Sinhala is an Indic language. And India, not the modern country India as defined by it's current borders, but rather the geography with thousands of years of civilization is the birthplace of all Indic languages. That's why the association with India. We are 1 civilization and 1 people - borders are irrelevant. This does not mean Sri Lanka does not have its own identity, etc. All it means is there is a lot more similarity than differences.

Yes, the tone in a sentense is there in Asian languages as well. Rather, in Asian languages, we sometimes solely depend on the tone of the sentense because the sentense might look the same but they mean different because our verbs are completely different than the western ones. The usage is very different. So yeah, the tone here, specially in India and its neighbouring countries, its very important.
