    In the Pacific Islands, we boil the green bananas in their skin and then take the skin off after cooking. Although some islands peel the skin off prior to boiling. Nice watching you :)

      What about Ethnic Farmer's Markets: Mexican, Korean, Chinese. *I end up buying regular Organic bananas on the day the supermarket gets their Produce in.* Call your local supermarket & ask for the Produce Manager to find out what day the truck comes in.
      They look green on the outside but are "turned" so you have to cook them right away or refrigerate and COOK THE NEXT DAY. Hope that helps.

    I would personally go with the lime juice method my concern with the saltfish is that my bananas may taste fishy and if I’m serving it with liver or some curry I don’t want the bananas tasting like saltfish so I would go with the lime juice ... excellent video as always

    • @hrh-PanF
      @hrh-PanF 5 лет назад +1

      @marco58138 - you're too heavy-handed dats why bananas break while you're peeling... best to peel dem under running cold tap water! It's also good to cook bananas in da skin after you top & tail & score them!

    • @marco58138
      @marco58138 5 лет назад +2

      Hrh-Pan F I’ve tried peeling them under water but the still break.I’m probably too heavy handed fi real.
