This is what you need. 2 old school brothers giving you their knowledge out of years of experience and love. Not clean cut teenagers doing it for views
@@Iuxaries they might be educated, but they don’t have the experience these have. If you were to account the amount of reps and sets these 2 have put in compared to a teenager. Would you rather have a heart surgeon with a degree but no operations. Or a surgeon with a degree and 100 operations in his arsenal?
I was watching a guy in my gym in Melbourne Australia doing spider crawls up the walls and l said that’s a John Meadows move let just say he was very very happy , he has one of your programs and every morning I say what’s John got you working on today , love it
That Pulling into the J Cup move is some next level stuff. I always had a problem with firing the lats when it came to the bench press. Will try this tip.
This whole series w/Dave has been friggin' phenomenal - My training's become a bit stale, so very much appreciate mapping out the regimen like this so I can switch things up a bit!
I love the fact that John knows EliteFTS and Dave Tate. I started "following" EliteFTS way back, almost before RUclips, and I've always agreed with the big boys. I like everything about it, even though I'm more into hypertrophy than powerlifting (at heart). The fact that John is there too is extra marvelous. I started following him way back too! Epic. By the way, where is the OG James? I miss him. seems like a great guy.
It's GOOD to be Back! It's been AWhile since I Followed & Subscribed! And as such... I Thoroughly ENJOYED Checkin-Up with Your Content during My Own 4 Hour session,,, TODAY!!! I REALLY liked the Old "Dynamic" training for Stability!!! I'm Amazed at How Hard Your other Partners were having with those Squat moves??? Back in 1990, I was Introduced to them as a Sophomore in High School!! And LOVED THEM!!!
Still miss john meadows 😢. What a legend. his era with dave tate was all about hard work balls to the wall. Nowadays people just wanna get strong fast in 3 months…😂 or wait 3 days..
awesome and invaluable content! Please more with Dave and I would appreciate a lower body warmup from the new program with the same explanations regarding warmup etc. thank you John
There's a RUclips interview with Louie, called bands and chains, or something similar i just watched, were someone asked him if there is a difference training raw lifters. He said yeah raw lifters shouldn't do Dynamic work but should do 6x6 run it out, then 8x8, and 10x10. Could you expand upon that for me. I'm a raw lifter trying to figure out whats best for me with Conjugate. Thank you.
for me ive been working out along time. the one thing i think id def benefit from is a program to set out the weight and reps i should do each workout. i tend to wing it and i think it negates my strength gains. With that in mind does this layout the weight and reps fro each set and if so how is that calculated
I'm sorry John, I love you brother and every video you've ever made...but I simply cannot sit through Dave's ridiculous heavy breathing. I usually dont even click on those videos. I know I'm just some idiot on the internet, but I mean that in the most constructive and least rude way possible.
GRANITE and GRIT ! What a double act! The best of the series yet John and what a fantastic facility Dave has. Very best wishes. Jim Harrison. Cheshire UK.
The Unity powerbuilding program: mountaindogdiet.com/programs/the-unity/
Finally the big one ist out. Now let´s see how to grow into and with that.
Day one complete!
My fav thing about this is you getting Dave to take that picture on the cover.
Could this program benefit intermediate level lifters or would you say it's geared more towards advanced ones?
Is this power bodybuilding?

These teenagers may also be educated you wouldn’t know

Dave Tate and John Meadows, the dynamic power duo. Awesome stuff.
Could we have even asked for a better duo??
rocking chairs in the gym - essential equipment!
Maroon Texas A&M Rocker from Cracker Barrel reporting in, always 3 feet away from my dead lift platform
Classic, Ohio gym.
Man John Meadows is so awesome. Absolutely the best role model for us all
The wealth of knowledge these 2 guys have is unbelievable!! Great tips on stabilizing the lifts!

Love the Red Rockingchair Reminiscing. Could listen to you guys all day. Should be a regular segment
I bet these guys have some stories that can’t be told on camera. Great video! Love when Dave comes over to play.
More hands on knowledge in this video than in most of RUclips.
Great video-love seeing Dave teach dynamic/max effort.
Didn’t realize you all were Columbus based. Love my hometown! O-H!
Love these long training videos!! Can’t wait to try this tmr

I'm a long time fan of Dave and Westside. I've done this exact workout before 😂👌 literal deja vu every time the next exercise popped up

I love these.. the simplest insight is like mind blowing
Forreal it just goes to show how when a good coach or mentor explains things in a simple but helpful new light it can really change things for you
Looking forward to waching this. Always good to see your workout vids!
The highlight of this video was John saying "thank you" to that guy mid drop set.
Really excellent I'm learning to be a Personal trainer and the cues given in this video and they way the instruction are given is really helpful
This is going to be great. I've take several bits of advice from Dave that really helped.
Looking forward to the next workout video already 💪😀
We miss you mountain dog 🙏
Thanks for the upload. I'm absorbing info like a sponge

My favorite power duo! Like batman and robin this week s going to be another banger! Woohoo!
“Dynamic” DUO.....come on man you had it
I love it bro
I wish I could come train with you two! 😭
Looks great . Literally trying it now. But why costarring with flat and not incline ?

Nice!!
Perplexing one for myself: but ping pong balls on the toes is this going to elevate the Bench Press.
👍
Can this program be completed with basic equipment i.e. just with barbells and dumbbells?
Nope imo
If you don’t have a smith machine- scrape the rack presses?
That seems to be a shorter range of motion on shoulder press than im used to. Is it safer? Just as effective than going further down? Good video!
Thought it was Roger Wakefield
Dave reminds me of Ox Baker.

As someone who has never done a program but has looked into all the mountaindog ones, is it okay if we start with the unity?
Problem is idk what to sub dumbbell press with in my home gym :/
Maybe a band under the bench?
Single arm push-ups on an incline/bench/box, with stabilisation from the other hand if necessary
Might be worth getting some dumbbell handles that accept Olympic weights. They're not ideal but they get the job done in a pinch.
Any chance of a 4 day program from you two at any point? I'm on a 4 day powerbuilding program atm but i'm only 4 weeks from the end of it
Do you guys ever do serratus pull ups for shoulder stability?
The camera man was searching for Waldo in the pictures above.
Hello john when to decrease or increase the volume or intensity in the workout if we not getting sore or getting sore?
I'm a simple man. I see Dave and John, I click like.
Just to clarify, how many weeks does the new programme, Unity, have?
9 weeks. I bought it and it looks amazing, I would recommend buying it. I’m starting it tomorrow!
👍👍
What is that tricep extension strap called/where do you get it?
when you order and download this program does it come as an excel sheet or is one included for tracking the sets and reps?
Key to powerbuilding bad ass facial hair
@RogerWakefield
When will this full program be available?
It's already available for purchase in John's site.Check the pinned comment.

6:32 350 not impressive? The day I hit 225 I'll be ecstatic lol
Same me thinking about 315
Awesome!!! I hope u guys post more so we can follow the program along with you
Love the layout of these types of videos
Just curious. I see you guys are using 55% of 1rm. What's your opinion on using 35-40% as one RUclipsr suggests for faster bar speed?
Dave seemed a little over stimulated in the intro. Too many purple Monsters
I need some boss
