Disney Concerts is teaming up with a cappella legend Deke Sharon ("Pitch Perfect" "The Sing Off") and Creative Director Jim Millan ("Kids In The Hall" "Mythbusters Live") to create "D Cappella," a Pentatonix-style vocal performance show built around a 7-voice part group of performers (Soprano, Mezzo, Alto, Tenor, Baritone, Bass, and Vocal Percussion). "D Cappella" will present new, contemporary arrangements of Disney repertoire while interacting with state of the art projections and screens.
Tour will start rehearsing in early March 2018 and performing in late March. All performers will be contracted for the whole initial run, which is approximately 40 performances in performing arts center venues across the country. Base salary is $2000/week. Performers must be legally able to work in the U.S.
