I used to live and work in Honolulu back in the 1970's and I always wondered why the Ala Wai canal was there. Now I know (it only took me 50 years to find out). So now I'm wondering what those things are that look like underwater runways in Keehi Lagoon? And is the walk-thru Banyan tree still in Thomas Square?
