That connection drop on the climb was super unfair, you would have stayed with the group if it didn't happen. Was a brutal course. Good riding with you!
Oof, backed off too early that first QOM :( Also, need to use your steering more, shortcutting a corner is faster than any draft! I use it to move forwards and close gaps all the time ;-)
Yeah, I have a tough time steering when I'm redlining and then having to shift gears so much more was throwing me off too. It wasn't backing off, it was slow death that got me gapped 😅 just needed a bit more watts in the legs
It is painful to do vo2max workout once a week even with good recovery between each block! To adept the strength of this kinda race, I think I have to decrease the recovery time between each block from 3.5mins to 1.5mins. It will be much more painful and stressful. "Yeah"!!!😢😢😢

Ah geez! Yeah, I've noticed that as well. Kind of like Zwift games the beginning of this year where the best of the best come out of the woodwork

I loath this route! This route is just too punchy. You just don’t have any time to recover.
