You forgot to mention survivalist can use it too with medic training the healing assault rifle is really useful in my opinion
Honorable mention for the medic grenade rifle, spamming heal nades into ur team during a flesh pound rush is life saving.

I feel like an honorable mention should be dropped on the HMTECH-101 Medic Pistol. Unless you're a Commando or Medic with the Medic Rifle or a Support with the Medic Shotgun, i can't see a reason why you shouldn't have one.

Man your vids are SUCH high quality and it shows that you put a lot of time in them. I really feel that the only reason you don’t have a crazy amount of subs is because the games you cover don’t exactly have the biggest player base but that doesn’t mean you should stop covering these games. We all love you.
The list isn't super surprising... It contains one high DPS weapon, one cost efficient weapon, one cross perk weapon (that also has excellent DPS), one gimmick weapon with strength and usefulness, and one all rounder.
The Boomstick, has one other noteworthy ability: The alt fire lets you jump with it, and if you land on a zed (even a boss or raging Fleshpound) it will knock them down.
In terms of DPS, the highest DPS in the game is only achieved by having the DUAL 9MM with the Backup skill, max upgraded, and have rapid assault equipped (Max Level SWAT ability).
Personally for me the Helios rifle. It tears bosses with damage over time paired with the right perks. Drops fleshpounds due to weakness and deals enough damage to take down scrakes easily with headshots. And it’s still pretty good against trash.
If it had to replace a weapon in the list to fit in the Helios, ir would have to be the Caulk&Burn, but again, the Caulk&Burn is much more efficient than the Helios at the Firebug's role, which is killing trash, maybe that's why it didn't make it into the list
It'll fire panic Scrakes before they are decapped. Not good.
@@zakillah9702 but Heat Wave buys you just the right time to finish that decap. Still, RPG/Railgun/Deagles unload/M14 unload is still faster and cleaner
I'd say that it's objectively one of the best if not the best for the boss waves since it's resisted far less than any other damage type.
@@bradg7999 i don't know...the fact that they use them even off-perk is proof that the raw damage output of the Railgun and RPG seems superior
When I use the FAL i tend to freeze scrakes and fleshpounds (that aren't raging) switch to full auto and well they melt really quickly so the risk is heavily reduced especially if you manage to freeze multiple
Agreed with the list, I'd have put a special mention to the starting medic weapon upgraded once, because of its usefulness, ease of use, little weight and cheapness for disposing of trash zeds and healing teamates. Seems obvious but yeah.

Gotta say, really love the HRG Incision. It's healing darts have INSANE knockdown power, useful against a siren or bloat in your face. Plus, as a medic isn't supposed to be on the front lines you can support your big game hunter while still keeping your team alive. Still, pair it with the 401. All hail the 401.
that sht is pretty over powered, you can literally emp aswell so if a teammate is near he will finish the job

@@Ionic0 I still think it doesn't deserve to be there. Besides, underated means that even though everyone considers ot 'bad', it's actually good/decent. So it would make sense for it to appear in that list
@@kiyoshimiyasato7324 I mean, the hemogolbin weight is just too much and you have much better options, why would you debuff rather than use faster healing. aslo the medic rifle duo is extreamly usefull on the hands of a good medic

The new Nail machine-gun was surprisingly Awesome.......I never found myself running out of ammo, it's a Really good back-up gun too.
Personally, i'd say the hemoclobber is the best weapons in the game. You can heal someone for 30 hp in a swing, heal yourself by 30 with a heavy swing, parry blocks 50% of damage, gas explosion will stun scrakes and FP's and weights only 4kg. OP even as an off-perk.
I'd add the M4 combat shotgun, easily able to kill multiple zeds in one shot, bodyshot gorefiends and headshot sirens and bloats at good ranges. Its versatile and really strong when used with the extended mags and salvo
my choice for "best overlooked weapon" would be the hemoclobber, it performs solid damage and even decent healing (if you smack your friends with it lol) but it's AOE heal/poison pulse can really be a life saver killing/poisoning all zeds nearby and topping off your health as well. is great fun to use on both medics and beserkers. A hemoclobber beserker is even harder to kill than a normal one and it's always funny to see teammates react to getting healed up by the beserk xD

The HMTech-401 is somehow very underrated, despite being obviously the best medic weapon. A lot of people use the 501 but I find that the grenade function is not as helpful as the darts on the 401. The damage, damage resistance, and move speed buffs are incredible with the 401: you can perform 3 heals in quick succession, so a player can get a %15 buff to DR, damage, and move speed if they're missing even a tiny amount of health. One of my favorite things to do in KF2 is to pocket heal a high-level berserker when I'm playing as a level 25 medic. The zerker is basically untouchable.
Why underrated though? It's literally meta
@@kiyoshimiyasato7324 I see people using the 501 over the 401 all the time in pubs. Anecdotal but that's why I think the 401 is underrated.

The 401 is pretty OP tbh and one of my personal favorite weapons.
Oh yeah, the Berserker gets an 85% damage resistance from full Medic buffs and getting off a parry LOL
i feel like the HRG Kaboom stick for the demo class is really great if you want to clear bosses easily, if you single shot up close it only takes 3 bullets to kill a full health fleshpound, also it knocks you back in the air, works well against bosses aswell, would recommend it plus the scar h, both have really good ammo and are high damage weapons

I also love the Stoner and the Mosin Nagant. Both are fun to use and useful in some perspectives.

Seal Squeal is one of my favorites. It is very cost effective, great for trash and big zeds alike. You can collat trash zeds with it and it good area damage. The seal squal when combining the ballistic dmg(damage from a direct hit) and the explosion damage, it deal 375 dmg, meaning that with perk upgrades, 3-5 shots can annihilate an FP or Scrake while killing surrounding zeds. The 5 shot mag cap and relatively large reserve ammo means that you shouldn't run short on ammo provided you are not using this weapon exclusively.

I think these videos are cool. But I think it would be really cool if you discuss different weapon combo/upgrades for different classes. Like maybe discuss upgrade thresholds and where it may be better to upgrade certain weapons over just upgrading one. It is fascinating what you said about the caulk n burn. I remember on some old steam post that a guy was making a mathematical argument that the caulk n burn is actually superior to the flamethrower. This was pre-upgrade days. I would be interested to see someone do some hard math with it. Like you say it is so strong merely by the fact that you start with it and it is free.
Recently started playing since I need a break from Overwatch (High diamond/Masters) Your videos are great btw!
The only problem so far is the Scope sense in this game cannot be changed, only zoom and normal fov sense. This is making the FN FAL LITERALLY impossible to use, such a shame.
Also quick question: How'd you get the centre reticule when using dual-wield Deagles? Mine goes away.

I play to kill the zeds as fast as I can, not because Jimmy Too Slows can't keep up.
It has more to do with making the game more challenging, than anything else.

Why is everything challange, I thought games were meant to be played for fun. If I'm gonna want challange I'm gonna fucking use my starter pistol only or some stupid thing like that.

Being challange is fun , but why not just do stuff like "Only starter weapons HoE" or something like that. I dispise challange that's just enemy spam if that makes sense.
My top 10 list would be the following.
1. Tier IV/V Desert Eagles
2. Ion Thruster
3. Helios Rifle
4. Tier V RPG 7
5. Tier V Eviscerator
6. Tier IV/V M14 EBR
7. Tier III/IV/V Crossbow
8. Tier V HMTech 401 Assault Rifle
9. Tier IV/V Hemoclobber
10. Tier V Scar H Assault Rifle
I quit like this list. Elite players would probably balk at your inclusion of the ion thruster and eviscerator, but I am not nearly that skilled.
No FN FAL? It's armour penetration is pretty good.
I think one of the best weapons is the bonecrusher, it's left thumbnail attack if you strafe in a circle just knocks everything flying. Thrust and left or down strong attack knocks skrakes flying, only fleshpounds can withstand it. That's where the ion thruster probably takes the top spot for that high fire damage.
Honorable mention to the Zweihander and bonecrusher, the zweihander may be better but I generally don’t have access to it, so my main is generally a upgraded bonecrusher
I used deagles for a long time before being forced by a daily to use the kaboom stick, and this demolitionist shotgun destroy everything, fleshpounds can't approach and boss don't have time to attack (rip volters shield after two doubles shots)
I main gunslinger and i use him with dual .500 magnum revolver (+1 upgrade) - 1 desert eagle as secondary (+1 upgrade) - and the shovel as parry tool if i'm playing solo or with few people, otherwise i rather have duals m1911 for extra ammunition.
I don't really like nor can get use to duals desert eagles, but as a secondary i do find it more easy to use and ammo conservator as i'm going for those headshots.
Sometimes playing solo or with few people one mistake can lead to disaster and the amount of times the shovel actually save my ass against a raging fp is worth mentioning 'cause, after the parry, allows me to max out rack 'em up and kill the fp easily
It was my educated guess that Firebug's starting weapon is in your list. :) I might use it as part of my end-game build, excluding Boss Wave. Helious Rifle + Caulk 'n Burn + 1 x Spitfire. Not the best loadout for Firebug I believe, but I like it, it's my way to play Firebug. Single Spitfire gives you variety for mid range, even though the reload time is notorious. Besides its Ground Fire ability got buffed, so it's even better now.
401-Medic Assault Rifle is a self-evident choice for me on this list, I pick it almost every time when I play the Commando. Excellent choice for a Medic as well, although I play that perk rarely. But I like to do some healing when I'm not playing the Medic, so 401-Assault Rifle is almost a perfect weapon for my Commando loadout. I sometimes use it even when playing the Survivalist.
I'm a bit surprised you chose FAL to your list, but I admit I like it as well when playing the Commando and Sharpshooter. But I need more practise with this weapon in order to handle recoil even better.
I'd say DBS might have its place in this list if the player is skillful enough do the up 'n down -jump and jump on big zeds and bosses. I cannot do it, playing with gaming controller hinders my gaming too much to do that.
I'd have chosen Demolitionist's RPG, it such a great weapon against all big zeds and big hordes of zeds. Seeker Six and Husk Cannon cannot beat it if you wanna be a reliable big zed killer when playing Demo.
Ive been loving the helious + upgraded spitfires, just works really well since upgrade dmg % are so good for them
Pretty much agree with all choices. 6th place would be rpg for how it can do big guy take downs but needs the right perks.
7th would be Medic Pistol because of utility at the low low price of 200 and 1 pound

Hear me out, the smg does slightly less dam but it will tear through trash with minimal recoil and a consistent bullet pattern. its 4KG lighter and you can pair it with more weapons and even have room to upgrade.
Agreed. Fully upgraded medic smg for consistent trash killing at a distance + medic grenadier for when trouble is in your face

Medic SMG + M4 shotgun + RPG is my go to survivalist build.
Have you played with the trench gun since the neon patch? The pellets are useless but the ground fire it now throws down with the ground fire perk is flipping amazing! I've bin using it as a ground fire despencer to deal with everything but scrakes and flesh pounds (the ground fire is even strong enough to deal with husks aswell!) and the Helios for scrakes , flesh pounds and bosses!
It also makes for good progress too only selling the calk and burn when u have the funds for the helios
My favorite weapon in the game is the HRG Incision. It's so good. High damage, emp effect, allows the medic to take down scrakes easily. Secondary fire is a massive knockdown power and acts like a spam off hand, and does excellent damage to boot. Heal power is potent, and you can heal through zeds and other teammates. The only drawback is that you kinda have to quickscope teammates for the healing, and it's easy to miss both of the heal shots on teammates, so I normally pair it with the Hmtech 401 or the Hemoglobin.
Good picks. I really like the M16. IMO it’s the all-around best assault rifle, especially with its grenade launcher.

I honestly love the M16 M203 with two upgrades paired with the Scar with one upgrade as the Commando
The M16 has a rapid fire, decent damage (even more with the Hollow Points perk + passive ability) and the grenade launcher helps a lot with clearing Trash Zeds and even larger ones. The SCAR, while limited in ammo, packs a good punch and has a stable scope, allowing me to hit zeds from far away.
i never picked the Deagles cause the kick is annoying but I will try them out again, thanks!
i use my personal load out for survivalist using 3 of the best weapons of each perk, Crossbow: Amazing damage and you can 3 shot a scrake, Hemoclobber: it's literally broken af since you can destroy trash and medium zeds with the poison cloud, heal yourself and teammates and parry fleshpounds, M4: that shotgun is just a beast, i mostly use it for deal with husks and edars but if i need to kill a sk with it i am able to do so

I will say would the DoomStick be better same with CaulknBurn, Flamethrower or Microwave? then again you would have to trade it for other weapon like AA12 or Helios, so there that too
FN FAL & 401-Tech I cant say yes or maybe to, are just good not only for there main classes but the Commando which is just over all good with a well set of weapons, just have 401-Tech with a good DPS rifle to be Medic-Commando (Medmmando) or FN FAL with a Trash Clear Rifle to be Rambo

Even when playing HoE I still consider getting .500 magnums and AF-11 combo. Just love the magnums' punch.
Magnums are t5. While DE are t4. Just people can't handle the recoil so they use eagles
My go-to weapons for gunslinger is medic pistol and dual Deagles both maxed upgraded
if i remember/ have enough space, i get a double barrel with any class at boss round so i can dodge the boss attack like richard said
I know this videos years and years ago, but honorable mention for the SPX. You max upgrade that thing and if your playing gunslinger you can 4-6 shot a 6 player hoe fleshpound. No idea why no one else uses it.
Are you using reshade to get the custom crosshair?
The M1014 is arguably one of the best, for being 1100 dosh it provides everything you could ask for. Much like the ak-12 for the commando, or even on the survivalist, it fits the trash killing secondary role for its class and ability to "mag" dump into heavier zeds if you're accurate enough. My other choice might be the medi-pistol as everyone should buy one for 6-man HoE boss fight.
If the FAL weighed one less unit, or the M14EBR was Commando crossperk, I’d pair one of them with the HM501. Since I can’t, I take the T5 SCAR with the HM501 on my Commando. Almost matches the bullet damage of the FAL but weighs less and has much better ammo efficiency.

My personal favorite is the compound bow. I know other weapons are better but it's just my preferred when playing sharpshooter.
1st place Boomstick is the best for me.

Well you might disagree but it can kill both trash and big zeds so...I like it. The downsides are ammo capacity, and bing jack of all trades master of non weapon.
Bonus: Medic Pistol
-well you should always consider carrying this if you have 1 slot left.
My favorite is the Husk Cannon.
It can 2 shot fleshpounds with the charge shot.
The Desert Eagles handle like a dream compared to the double double M1911’s
My favorite is the medic assault rifle since you can heal your team and it barely has a kick, it can kill zeds in 1 hit

@@MalumCaedo524 I'm guessing because Field Medics that are dedicated to heal are a rare sight in pubs. Besides, you only invest 200 dosh and 1 pound to gain a 30-HP-every-10-seconds-or-so dispenser. Why not investing on it?
Ion Thruster - king of all melee weapons. Longest hit range, fast light swing, excellent for killing thrashes. Bonus fire damage and Ultimate Charge ability.
It is not better than Zwei or Strikers for killing big zeds but it's decent and I find crawlers and stalkers more annoying than a Scrake or FP.
Only downside: a 10 dollar pricetag barrier
i mean, it's just a buffed katana at the end of the day. and the video says "best" so maybe you can change that to usefull? Also your rol as berserker is protec your teammates not just take down everything so yeah, Ion Thruster is pretty neat
@@haustek9341 it's a lot more than a buffed Katana. I consider it a buffed melee weapon, buffed in every stat: range, damage, rate of fire, incap power. It is the best all-rounder.
For sure your role is to protect team members with Parry at the front line but you can also kill ZEDs better then them, you can do anything as a zerker.

I'm sad m16 with m203 grenade launcher isn't on the list. From my time using it, it's absolutely fun and a beast when it comes to trash and sometimes against fleshpounds and boats with exstended Mags and head shots.
So, on the top of my head it would b SCAR, Deagle,Helios,FN FAL and M4 shotty.

Stuff like the Tier-4/5 Deagles is why I hate the upgrade system. It was such a half-baked attempt at appeasing people on Reddit asking for in-game weapon customization, but instead ended up as a poorly thought-out (and lazy) version of the "pack a punch" system from COD Zombies that just breaks the weapon balance of Killing Floor

I think you probably should have mentioned shooting a scrake in the head with med rifle as commando will stun/stumble him, then you can quick swap to the fal and kill him in a couple of headshots. Also with a survivalist the hmtech grenade launcher is insanely OP during zed time, it has a much higher than normal chance to stun. Fire of a grenade round to kill all trash, pair it with the crossbow and hit all your headshots...it’s a super easy way to deal with bigs on a 6 man he’ll on earth, even a raging FP. That being said the crossbow is super underrated too with sharpshooter and quick reload. If you know how to aim you can bring a FP to its knees with a couple we’ll placed headshots. Then go pick up your ammunition. Also if you want an unkillable solo HoE class level up your survivalist to get the melee perk + the med grenade perk and use hemoclobber and the hmtech grenade launcher. Med/hmtech grenades kill all trash and heal you. At level 20 you get spontaneous zed explosions so almost 1/3 of the zeds you kill will stun everything else so if you get bigs you can kite around with the hemoclobber and the trash will stun all bigs. Or you can go for more carry weight and run a combo weapon like a rail gun. Survivalist is such a low tier class in multiplayer but imo I can solo any HoE map like it’s nothing single player. Source: Prestige 5 all classes 😏
I'd give the mosin nagant a mention especially when upgraded as a primary all purpose weapon for sharpshooter though I dont know if bayonett still one shots trash on hoe but very relevant when Dealing with scrakes, and fleshpounds, the built in parry is also a life saver when used at the right time, however the 10$ does deter anyone from ever considering it though

I really like the Mosin because it's a really satisfying weapon gameplay-wise

Given the boost to firebug in the form of stronger spontaneous Z-Splosion, coupled with a more reliable stun (pahahaha firebug), the CnB has become even better - Especially on lower difficulties.

I just started playing killing floor 2 and am curious how is it possible to max tier your desert eagles. I am only able to finally purchase them near the last wave and dont have money to tier them up. Is it a different game mode or a better way to make more money? Any tips will be helpful!
If you play endless you'll have plenty of time to upgrade them.
Hmtech 401 is my favorite 100rd assault rifle 😎

I just adjust my commando skills for largest possible magazine than i buy machine gun lol. It doesnt matter it is sui or hoe, it feels like infinite ammo and if you are experienced fps player you can use it with hip-fire short-mid range. I find it very effective even against fleshpounds . Nr1 weapon in my opinion

I don’t understand about the tier 5 Deagles. The tier 5 .500 Magnums do more damage, don’t they? To me it feels way stronger than the Deagles. Are the Deagles considered more OP cause of the faster fire rate and bigger ammo capacity or something? I know they’re tough as hell maxed but I feel as if the .500 still does more.

In terms of utility/power even when being played off-perk:
RPG-7, Medic Pistol, Katana, Railgun and maybe Nailgun, but I'm not so sure about the last one

Hemoclobber, aa12, rpg, m16, and maybe helios
@@shrek4949 thanks to the Hemoclobber, it's outdated, but if you just want to use it as an off-perk parrying tool, the Katana is cheaper
@@kiyoshimiyasato7324 Everything you said but the Katana, would have replaced it with either the crovel upgraded once, the battle axe or the eviscerator.
Nevermind I forgot about the Hemoclobber, hands down the best Berserker weapon.

Helios Rifle is definitely my favorite weapon. Also the m16 with grenade launcher is very useful. Maybe do a list of most useful weapons not necessarily powerful
Been using the M16 with the grenade launcher with mixed effects. Its excellent for trash and the grenade spam can be used quite effectively but I struggle using it against bosses.
The explosive pistol is my favourite for trash Zs
Only thing I disagree with here is boom stick. Ever since doom stick came out, I haven’t found the boomstick useful. As support, I love the m4/doom combo, making you a one man army. You can dispose of anything as long as you don’t forgot to reload with the m4, and the doom stick can launch fleshpounds into the stratosphere in practically any difficulty. If I just stick with a boomstick, I find myself running out of ammo pretty quickly even if only use it for big zeds.
Question - is there really a difference between L2 single Desert Eagle and dual Eagles besides the double amount of bullets per reload? I kinda figured it's better to use a single one because smaller clip is compensated by faster reload and therefore higher versatility.
Personal favourites - Dual .500 Magnums (style), M79 (T2...) and... Killerwatt. I know its secondary mode is quite tricky to handle but it can be very powerful when used at the right time, easily killing 4 quarter pounds in just a few seconds.
Reloads with the Killerwatt are painfully slow, though, since Survivalist is so flawed that he doesn't even have reload bonuses for his own weapons

@@dvdsvtlk I actually have to admit that Survivalist can be strong thanks to versatility. It's just that I'm not a fan of that particular playstyle. But something I cannot forgive is that he doesn't have reload bonuses for his own weapons. Why is that a thing?
It's a matter of preference, if you want the highest versatility, pick Zerker, never worry about a reload and swing either for single target or aoe.
I prefer to keep the arsenal simple in everything I play, just 2 weapons. So I pick Dual Deagles and Dual other guns.
