Thank you for the crawler mode! Have 2 of the jjrc’s, one jeep, one tarantula, this is so helpful! All they really need are shocks and tires/wheels and they are great for cheap.
Many thanks for showing me this crawler mode. Stopping instantly now on steep declines. Great stuff! It's a great crawler for the money. I've put new suspension, and some slightly smaller than stock, stickier rock tyres. And that's all I will do to it. 👍. (And it's improved crawler mode!)
Crawler mode engage! Thank you kindly! Also, it's super easy to take the tail lights out and 1. put the brake led on top and the signal led on the bottom (like a real Cherokee), 2. snip one of the wires on the rear signal leds, 3. get some Tamiya clear red and clear yellow to paint those rear lenses! I also scaled mine out with some metallic Jeep badging, etc. etc.
Great find and content. It looks like the new esc has 4 ports, older were 3. Shared to the fb group after your initial post. Snipping those tabs is the first thing you do. Lots of info in the group about moving the light connectors so they stay on.

Austar Hobby AX-8560
Same as austar 8560 bind plug dont work on older esc with 4 ports
So that's where injora got the body, they sell for the trx4m lol.
What type of plug do you use to bridge the wire with so you can still use your lights?
It’s a bind plug. Very common, comes with most transmitters but you can get them separately
