Those ties are two of about 350 (last I counted...). Really should donate them somewhere. I probably have 15 Buffalo Bills ties, 5 or 6 Valentines Day ties, 20? Christmas ties, 20? St.Patrick's day ties. Ugh.

@@rsmith1027 The 3rd valve slide is used to tune low D's and low C#'s. (They are very sharp). The 1st valve slide allows us to adjust A's (2nd space, and high A). Sometimes, low E can benefit from this also. The amount you need to extend those valve slides varies from instrument to instrument.
This is my first song , after I bought 21 days ago a trumpet. It is quite easy although some notes for a novice are not. I do it pretty well, only I have to take care of the intonation because I always seem to be under ton, even if the tuner says no ...
Wonderful. I tried to play this song with my acustic guitar (tuned in C) but it went wrong... these notes are written for Bb instruments. So I tried again reading this notes (this song is in F) but playing one note bellow (in Eb). It worked, but it's very dificult for me... it's is a music exercise any way.
