My situation did not get easier until much later but my faith and trust got stronger. I'm an atheist that became a Christian 2 years ago Christianity is new to me but my faith in God grew after my brother died. I was given a devotion that said tear shall cease by Charles Spergueon and felt that that devotion was made by God to strengthen my faith and to comfort me. And this song reminded me that in suffering God's joy still lives and He is in control. The Bible said that we know in all things God works for the good of those who love Him and our called according to His purpose Romans 8:28. Now I know that God worked for the good of Thomas Alikre and He still works for my good. For He is a sovereign, compassionate, all-knowing, and all-powerful God and even when we think we has abandoned us He is with us and He is in control.
