I never thought when you rescued Carl, you would have a herd of dancing ostriches to care for. Isn't it funny how things turn out. I didnt even know ostriches dance,or that you could lead them places! Its a Godsend you bought LHL,and I love watching your videos. I love Wanda's big, goofy personality. She's extremely funny! The baby Ostriches markings are so beautiful right now. Tat has always been dominant, so lately I've noticed that he is becoming the fearless leader out of the three. That was cute and a special moment when they came down to the river. Elfie is a little daredevil and loves to climb, as she should. Having to bring all of the goats to LHL'S has really given you a clearer understanding as to who permanently resides at each farm, I'm sure!
I noticed that your relationship with the ostriches grew immediately closer when you began to let them out of their enclosure. They began to show much more trust in you, and to want to be closer to you.

Ringo looks so much better from summer camp and so does Brady, well all of them. I say you'll take Ringo, Brady, Lenny, Laverne, Shirley and ONG back to ISS. The babies running down the hill was the cutest thing I've seen 😍 I cannot believe how big they've gotten!! So so sweet ❤️
The 3 ostrich siblings are so curious! Was a bit frightened for their safety on their way downhill, but wow, they were so graceful when they trotted back to the grown ups, trilling all the way ❤

Watching Brady going uphill like that was amazing! I laughed at the ostrich babies running downhill with their wings out and Ringo ahead of them looking back like "Oh no! Those giants are going to run me down." Sometimes Elfie has more guts than he should for his own good!

I can't believe those babies followed you down the hill! You can tell when they started getting nervous though because they started making those noises that they make. Oh , there are no words to express how much I love seeing the Ostriches out and about. Esp. the free roaming and now down the path to the river. They are having the best time of there life. also the goats, that climbing stuff is what they love to do. It is so much fun to watch this. Can't get enough of it.
It looks like the ostriches are paving their own way at LHL. Like the Longhorns, now being so placid and calm, the ostriches are finding their place as well. It is obvious that they love where they are. I love my daily dose of Longhorn Lesters videos. It is such a wonderful place and peaceful
I agree, it's peaceful to watch the animals here. They are adjusting well because they are being allowed to find their own way in their own time. And some freedom to roam is awesome. But they know they're safe, it's so fun to watch. I love ISS, and will never stop watching them, but the people who feel they have to choose, are sadly denying themselves some real pleasure.

I loved that the junior Ostriches were going on a solo adventure without their parents! Lester, Mom & Dad weren’t worried because they knew that you were down there to protect them. 😉 Oh…& please let Sue stay at LHL’s with her family unit, at this late stage I think she would miss them & LHL’s so much.🙏🏻

So the gate was opened, his owners brought a half a bucket of feed… haven’t seen “hide nor hair” of them since🤣 if not for your videos, I wouldn’t know the first thing about a goat (I mean pony)! I don't have animals but experienced losing a house, all contents, and car. I watched my friends lose everything as well. It was a traumatic time. What an amazing video but it wasn’t long enough! I could’ve watched those goats walk and graze down towards the river all day. The ostriches was the best part! Watching them run down the steep hill not being able to stop, gravity pulling them faster and faster. And to think it was just the three babies no parents how strange and unique that just the babies came. It was surreal. I can’t wait for the next video.

I’ve had many a dog & cat adopt my home through the years, but last month I acquired a new member, a goat (sshhh he thinks hes just another of the ponies) he showed up at my gate, we found his home, but he was back the next day. So the gate was opened, his owners brought a half a bucket of feed… haven’t seen “hide nor hair” of them since🤣 if not for your videos, I wouldn’t know the first thing about a goat (I mean pony)! Those ostriches are having fun on the river walk. Those feathers are so excited about everything you introduce them to. The goats are thoroughly enjoying their summer home. LHL has excellent foraging and they enjoy every minute out of the pasture. All of these activities are so enriching to your critters.

I don't have animals but experienced losing a house, all contents, and car. I watched my friends lose everything as well. It was a traumatic time. Seeing Lester and all of us rebuild and thrive is a blessing!💕

What an amazing video but it wasn’t long enough! I could’ve watched those goats walk and graze down towards the river all day. The ostriches was the best part! Watching them run down the steep hill not being able to stop, gravity pulling them faster and faster. And to think it was just the three babies no parents how strange and unique that just the babies came. It was surreal. I can’t wait for the next video.

Great idea to bring Lenny back to ISS. I think he’s a born leader. Poor Huck doesn’t need any competition. I love that big galoot, Brady. I’ll never forget how he got stuck in the hay for days without any water and was in such bad shape. Look at him now. He’s thriving and super strong.

I have no words to express what a hoot it was to see those ostrich babies come on down the hill. I don't know what was more delightful: their dance celebration or their jaunt down the hill then proudly back up again. They were just the dog gone cutest birds EVER!
