I've never in my life seen this sight....in such detail. Really very interesting. We've seen so much of New York in the movies but this is like a back stage tour.
Awesome video. I've sat up front in an R44 a few times, but I was so focused on the views of Atlantic City, I wasn't looking at the controls much. Just an occasional glimpse at the instrument panel. I never realized how much the stick vibrates!
Thanks ,Its a T cyclic, so either seat can lower handle down to control cyclic. Looks worse because how far bar sticks out, vibrations are multiplied , but when ur holding it ,its not bad. Its a very basic simple but effective and cheap design. plus the r22 is a bare bones helicopter, not fancy with between legs cyclic on most u see in movies etc. Also the 444 has a hydraulic assist cyclic so vibrations arent as pronounced as well
@@flygoapebilly9712 Ok, thanks for the info. I've flown the Hudson/East river flights many times in fixed-wing. I'd love to take a helicopter tour over the area as a passenger one day. Just sit back and let someone else do the work, while I enjoy the views 🙂

Ladies & Gentlemen! Guys & Dolls! When EVERYTHING has been said, done, designed & built, "the pride of Manhattan"........since 1931 and STILL the most beautiful, the most classic & the most spectacular skyscraper in the whole wide world. The Empire State Building!
It's practically impossible to be able to see people on the ground in this video from the height the helicopter was, even the cars looked like tiny dots, yet so many of these buildings and skyscrapers were so prominently large and close-up looking, just goes to show how gigantic the city really is. And it's extremely densely populated. Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx take up larger areas, many more square miles, but Manhattan has the highest population because of how much more vertical it is, it's got by far the higher population per square mile. There are hundreds of occupied buildings over 50 stories tall from Downtown to Central Park
Nice views from up above. The Dakota Apartment building at 72nd Street and Central Park West and of course all those Skyscrapers about 17 or 18 of them now over 1000 feet tall. All of then captured by this flight. 👍💜
Great video. I loved the trip over Central Park! I visited New York in the early 60s and went to the top of the Empire State Building. It was awesome then; I think it's still awesome. What an incredible city! Thanks for posting.

They are colonies for people who live elsewhere and need something to stash their money in. They are alien and un-human because nobody lives there full time. It's not a home in the traditional sense, it is hoarded money that could've been spent on things that would've been a real asset to the society, like affordable living for the people who actually live and work for a living.
