One of the Walmart stores I deliver for will purposely pick damaged products crushed boxes etc to deliver to the online customers. Crooked Walmart managers trying to make their bonus, they have no shame.
Great idea harassing all your customers on their way out of the store! Why not just drive them to your competitors? Or that’s right, you already ran them out of business.
Hey Walmart, this video isn't even close to being accurate according to my own experiences. I am convinced grocery pickers are trained to look specifically for items that are close to expiration, or even expired already. Every single time I place a pickup order I get brown expired lettuce and greens, inedible produce, meat that is going to expire in one day or less, etc etc. Having to refund this stuff and then go inside the store to find edible food doesn't save me any time, it actually costs me more time.
Walmart doesn’t train them to look at expired dates. They just train them to get and go but i work there and I usually get the best available. I never wanna set a family up for failure
Its because what was available at the time of picking isnt what is there when you show up and hour later. Maybe pick a different time of pickup when things arent there from the night before. Pick a time after 7 am when things are freshly stocked in produce. I say this as a picker myself and to stop the ignorance.
Most of shoppers are kids and need training. They have no idea how to choose food because their moms are still doing it for them. This is a training issue. I always have the same issue
