I can't find any tips for a brand new player cause everyone assumes you're a 20 year veteran, I'm okay with that, I'm playing for the adventure, I'm also proud that I'm level 7 with 500gil to my name, I can't buy anything with it, but the fact that I made that makes me proud. I just don't see how I'm gonna gear up for dunes, I'll probably be level 17 by the time I'm geared up and then I'll be saving for the next bit of gear.
One of the best way to make gil really early is conquest points. Be sure every time you fight get signet those points will build. Try to get to rank2 I think most nations are pretty easy solo about lvl7-10. Then go back to that same signet NPC exchange your conquest points for rank2 items most of them sell for 3-5k. Level all the start jobs to lvl10 starting gear and a weapon all the gear you need. You will end up with a bucket of conquest points farming drops and crystals.
repeatable quests are a great way for lower level players. If you luck your from sandy or Windy they have the better ones (My Opinion) the other replies are good to conquest points are another option since your out killing mobs anyways get signet on and get your points and crystals.
@@deadmemegamming yeah I always make sure to put signet on before leaving, but there's so much on the basic level I don't yet understand, like I'm level 8 Warrior, I have provoke and mighty strike but no weapon abilities for my great axe, I managed to get a one handed axe and shield with what little gil I had, but I'm guessing I have to pick one for now and train it up, I've also heard stuff about RoE but have no way of starting it through the menu as suggested online and the NPC isakoth is no where to be seen in E-11 bastok markets, I get this is a sandbox mmo where you make you're own goals and I like that, but there's obviously a meta to it that players have developed and I wanna be able to progress and a some what decent rate as I can't no life the game :P. I'm getting more responses here than I am in the actual game when I try asking people for pointers xD
@@deadmemegamming also I picked bastok as my starting zone cause its the one I'm most familiar with from when I played as kid, but back then I had my brother who pretty much helped me with everything and all I really did was mob grind for levels, only ever made it to level 33.
Great tips here, the economy is so crazy right now and changing by the hour.
yes it's all over the place rabbit meat is going for almost 2k stack some days. Good luck out there.
simple economics 👍
