Lachine: Incendie rapidement maîtrisé / Quick apartment fire knockdown 10-12-2018

À minuit ce matin un incendie s'est déclaré au troisième étage d'un immeuble résidentiel aux intersections 8e avenue et rue Victoria à Lachine. Dès leur arrivée les pompiers ont observé de la fumé s'échappant de l'édifice. Un code 10-07 a été enclenché et l'incendie rapidement maîtrisé. Plusieurs résidents ont évacué les lieux, certains avec des effets personnels et des animaux de compagnie en cage. Le secteur a été bloqué à la circulation pendant la durée de l'intervention.
At midnig this morning a fire damaged a 3rd floor unit at a residential apartment complex at the corner of 8th Ave and Victoria St in Lachine, a suburb of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Upon arrival, firemen spotted smoke coming out of the structure and engaged a 10-07 code. The fire was quickly extinguished and no injury were reported. Residents evacuated, some carrying personal effects and pets in cages. The area was shut to traffic during the intervention.
