I think part of the reason he won is that he represents everything British; having fought for his country and incorporating that into his act with the costumes and the band. There was some controversy in previous years when the winners were from another country and I think the public wanted to have a "real British act" win this year. Did you see those guys in the background walking off? He should upload that performance. Was a tribute to the 10th anniversary of the show. It was the highlight of the night. Superb!!

I knew richard jones was going to win BGT 2016 people have a soft spot for military people, but he deserved it too, kudos to his research team Damn, he did the ultimate magic trick - casting a spell on the public to vote for him to win the show. That has to be classic magic right? I think he did great, but I think it should have been: as he is ready like a king to be in on football game like a king of the Cowboy king okay can tell you who is next on the stage to win is dress up like Black Knight of the good prade that is so awesome to fit in with Boogie Storm so that is the Christmas ACT was nice to wait to happen next week okay so that is those kids same Chothes in 2023 about your family backstory okay. This was a good show overall. Good auditions, great semi-finals, and an excellent final. But it all got spoiled when Richard Jones won it repeating Matt Franco's tricks from AGT 2014. On the other hand, if a singer can win after tweaking and singing another's song, so can a magician after tweaking another's tricks. It's that simple. I usually don't comment, like, or subscribe to videos. I just watch them and get enjoyment out of them, but I had to in this case. Thank you so very much for this season and excited to see more. A winner using a trick was on AGT year 2014 (i think) ..and bringing an old man for public's pity, what talent is that??!!!
Exactly! Actually, the trick was on AGT in 2013 (Collins Key), and I was even ready to stretch it and accept that Richard did this act again (hard to be original these days with all that's already been done). But when he brought in the vet, I got literally sick. How nauseating that he would even think of doing this. And how profoundly worrying that the British people let themselves being such manipulated. Profoundly worrying.
All the other performances deservered to win..evreyone can see that they worked to enhance their performances..but he seemed like he did last minute trick ,not prepared ,and almost time for the show..what to do? look for magic shows that won Got Talent ..choose easy trick you can learn in short time ,since you have some magic skills ..and to make sure people like and do not get upset with you..bring an old Soldier to make people pity him and feel guilty if they don't vote for him..i mean ''HOW COULD NOT VOTE FOR HIM ,THAT'S LIKE BETRAYING THE COUNTRY IF YOU CHOOSE ANOTHER ONE OVER THE SOLDIER WHO SPENT HIS LIFE FOR YOU'' ..bring some patriotism to the show and you'll win !!!

Darcy Oake came so close in 2014, Jamie Raven came so close in 2015, but now Richard Jones erases the drought of Magicians not winning!
Yeah and among all three Darcy Oake would have been a more worthy winner. He was so much more amazing than Richard or Jamie
Darcy Oake is an Illusionist & Magician -- but his large-scale, impressive acts are not card tricks, etc. -- they fall under the realm of Illusionist. Like Frosted Graves said "He was so much more amazing." Simon was very impressed by Darcy -- but he was/is Canadian.

Knew they were not going to win. As I said before not deserving of the Golden Buzzer. The magician first performance great, the next two were not so good. He won because of being in the British Army and bringing the old man on stage. Seems like for some reason it was fixed this year. Let's see if the ratings go down next year.

Kind of disappointed from results, wayne was well deserving but jasmine and 100 deserved to be in top 3. Richard's audition was impressive but in this trick, even a least observer like me, easily saw him slipping the card.

This morning, I went to Google to read about the wildcards - but the game was already all done and over, and had spoiled it for myself. Oh well. Was super angered to see the dog act win one of the wildcards. Pfft.
I did hope either Balance, Jasmine, Beau or Wayne would win but oh well :D I did like richard

I have to agree with some of the others who commented I think beau and jasmine should of been in the top 3 or at least one of them should have been. Not to take away from the winner but I think one those 2 should of been the winner or at least 2nd place.
Really disappointed in the winner. In my opinion Wayne Woodward shouldve won this for sure. He had the best performance of the night.
Anyways I would like to thank Anthony Ying for uploading these videos so people from the US like myself could watch the full performance's and judges reviews. Hope you do it again for next year's!

What a let down.....wasted my time doe total B.S, I mean seriously I was rooting for Alex, Craig Ball and Richard but highly was hoping either Alex or Craig after watching Richard's "magic" trick total let down......
