Why Manta Is Good On Core Dazzle (7.36)

Core Dazzle needs to be survivable and sustainable to keep up with the farming speed of other core heroes in Dota. Manta is a perfect all-around item. It has a solid build up, accentuates Dazzle's strengths, and covers his weaknesses. It helps him fight reliably in the mid-game and helps him scale into the late game. Manta and Aghs are two core items in this new patch (with poison bloom). I will also cover how to do the Mana Illusion Bait trick. For the manta escape trick, you can actually assign one of the mantas to a control group, then select it and control it on its own, and this doesn't require you having to remove the "Auto Select Summoned Units" option.

You can even have another control group that encompasses your hero along with the other manta illusion, the one not assigned to the first summoned group. You can then select that group and control the units as if they are the manta illusions (in case that was ever needed in the fight as to make it "extra believable"). And, for the fun of it, you can have another group for both manta illusions, as sometimes it can be good to select them for pushing purposes etc.

Ohh great trick for dazzle jaja, as I feel none of the traditional survive items saves you except some times ghost scepter, I may be able to catch some people with this jaja

As a core, you really have to make sure you farm as many camps and creeps as possible before taking team fights in the early game to keep up with many opponent cores with powerful ults right now like troll, Ursa, PA, etc. but dazzle does a lot of damage as long as you can hit people :) poison bloom is saving us haha
