HKA at Bok October 2021, Kickboxing

The losses, weren’t even really losses, close close fights. Hard to call it.
I’m super proud of our HKA team. Everyone did amazing today. The fight team are getting back on track.
First up was :- Henry, with only 5 mins to walking through the Bok doors, to stepping in the ring, fought an amazing fight, some real skills coming through. Henry has only been on the fight team for a short while, but did us and himself very proud. This kid sorry guy will definitely go far, a little bit of tweaking and fitness, and watch this space. 👊🏻
2nd up :- Elijah, after his last fight not going so well back in July, nerves and he had something to prove. Well he def did that, only a few months and the improvement is great to see. Pushing the other guy back and constantly working hard a real great fight, and very deserved win.
3rd up :- was the lovely Drew, and finally, she is starting to believe in herself, and believes she has outstanding reach on both her hands and legs. This was the best I have seen her fight, and always on the front foot pushing the other girl back, fantastic kicks, and took all 3 rounds. Clear win.
4th up :- Jesse James and again this was the best I have seen him fight, moved to the elites team recently, running, and putting in that extra effort. Jesse was pushing forward constantly and attacking body punch after body punch. I actually thought he had won, but the judges gave it to the other side. Great fight, and the other guy had 15 fights, Jesse only 2, so keep that hard work up, it’s paying off.
5th up :- Claudia, and when Claudia steps into the ring, you all no it’s going to be a war, and a war it was. Both girls fighting so hard, Claudia finding it hard to find room, as the other girl was pressuring so much, Claudia with some great kicks. It was a tough good fight, Claudia kept digging. And Claudia got that win, big up to her opponent though, who was just as amazing, and a very talented female.
6th and finally was our youngest fighter of the day. Riley ,again you no when ever you watch Riley it’s going to be a great fight. This boys work rate is 100% and does not stop, you no when he steps in that ring, he will not stop till I say or till that bell goes. A fantastic fight, taking control of all 3 rounds. 😊
I just want to say myself and Carl are so very proud of you. And you all listened👌🏻.
