I rarely cry at many of the stories - I actually stop myself because If I started i would be a wreck . This one, I am crying. The scenes at the end, are Magnificent. The Lord has truly blessed this family. Shela you were firmly in His hand the entire time. You made it through. May you always be Blessed and be Protected from harm. Always.
This is one of the most touching holocaust stories. The pain of this fine lady comes through in her testimony. She suffered a lot as a child, and she lived. I’m glad she has a family and found someone to have a life with. Your testimony is meaningful and it helps people from all walks of life in current situations of difficulty. God bless you Rachela.
Dear Shela - I read your entire Very Tragic Story. And was So Glad To Hear Of The Happiness You Now Enjoy & Deserve. You Are Indeed A Beautiful Woman With A Very Lovely Family. Blessings To All Of You From Canada.
Dear Shela. What an unbelievable sad sad story. I am so thrilled that you survived and have a Big Beautiful family. Kol Hakavod. Thank you for sharing this with us all. I am sorry for all that you had to go through. So very much. May you have a happy healthy life and enjoy all your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and may they continue to share your story so that something like this should never happen again. If Only.
Dear Shela, i enjoyed every eord you said. This is a very detailed account of what yoy went through, sibce you were still with your dear family and later when your brave and generous mother sent you with yiur sister Bella to have another chance at life. You too are a brave person coz you could easily have lost hope, moving from family to family. I cried listening to your hard life but, thank God you are alive and enjoying a beautiful, large family. God bless you and all your family. From Malta.
It gives me goosebumps to think that mere hours after Bella took Shela's hand to leave Monopol, the death trains took her mom and the other prisoners to their doom. Her mom was a brave and wise woman for seizing a slim opportunity to save her child. Maybe YHWH prevented the Nazis from spotting the child.
my god, the bulgarians let the jewish people down so badly, all i was ever told is that no one knew exactly what was going on but in this sad story it doesn't seem so, we must never forget each and every story of this survival and pain.
War and hate are the most evil and tragic things, ever. WHEN will we ever learn? Still, in these "civilized" times, some people hate just because of race and culture. We are pathetic.

כל כך מרגש! התרגשתי עד דמעות! המסע החיים שעברת איזה אישה מדהימה מאחלת עוד המון שנים של בריאות ושמחה בחיק המשפחה המדהימה!

So sad to hear your story.
You are a brave woman and God is with you
This is unbelievably sad but I cannot understand her sister Bella committing suicide and leaving her all alone to fend for herself.
What a story, and how very important
