Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Biyuram Wahge, Intervened in IMC Protests, Promises Resolution of Charter Demands
Today, Issue Chairman Hania Tara Kin interacted with Capital News to highlight the two days of sit-in protests by ward committee members and contractors under the Twin Capital IMC against the Mayor of IMC and higher authorities. The Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Biyuram Wahge, has intervened. He invited the interim committee members to discuss their four charter demands under the 14th and 15th Finance Commissions in his BJP office on 02/08/2024. The Minister assured them that their issues concerning the 14th and 15th Finance Commissions would be resolved amicably.
The Issue Chairman stated that the interim committees have suspended their further sit-in dharna protests. They believe in the government of Arunachal Pradesh under the leadership of Pema Khandu's 3.0 Government. However, if their demands are not fulfilled, they will protest again until their demands are met.
