Actually some people say the Batman & Robin game did, they say the game was much better than the film and the gameplay of finding clues and going all over Gotham to find the villains inspired the Arkham games.
@Jason P No it wasn't. This was a tie in game and for what it was it was very decent. This is before we've had a standalone original Spider-Man/Batman games like Arkham Asylum and Spider-Man: Web of Shadows. Hell even the Superman Returns was better than the film imo.

I wouldnt go that far. I am an Arkham fanboy. Have the omnibus, the 3 foot Prime 1 statues, etc etc. This is simply a different format made ALMOST 7 YEARS earlier than Arkham City. For its time this game was mind blowing not to mention the voice acting is like nothing since Vice City
the one thing this game does better than the Arkham games is the use of stealth & fear. Doing things to creep out enemies like taking out a light or making noises with the environment to put them on edge. i loved how enemies would talk about Batman like he's a dark un-killable entity stalking them, the more you f*#ked with them the more nervous they got. in the Arkham games, it's there but enemy reactions didn't sell it, they just put their guard up, they're more ready than they are afraid so you don't really feel like you're in control.
Man I remember playing the hell out of this. I thought it was actually pretty good. Awesome stealth decent combat. None of my friends really played it because a lot of people were introduced to the Nolanverse with the Dark Knight not Batman Begins unfortunately
This game captured melancholy of a modern urban setting better than any Batman game. It really felt like you was actually there, at night, lurking around buildings while the cold wind blows in your face.

Original games started getting better. Companies started coming up with better stories and characters. And the game industry started catching up to the film industry. Eventually it got to the point where game companies really didn't have any reason to work with film companies to make a game off a movie, because game companies were making plenty of money off of their own, original titles. And after the release of the Batman Arkham games, especially Arkham City, game companies saw how a proper super hero game should be made.
Wait a second... this game came out in 2005... and it already had a Batmobile AND a fear system that the Arkham games failed to have until Arkham Knight in 2015? Wow, that's crazy. It took Rocksteady 10 years to pick up all of the slack this game left for them.
I'm going to keep it 100 with everyone in this comment section I didn't even know that they made a game about this series. I grew up with the Arkham verse🤷🏾♂️💯 but I wish I knew about this when I was more of a kid I think 10-year-old me would have liked this
They only made a video game tie-in with just Batman Begins. IDK why they didn’t do one with The Dark Knight, but I imagine Heath Ledger’s death probably had something to do with it
I got this game when I was 16 years old back in the summer of 2005 and I beat it, it’s to bad they never made a dark knight game and a dark knight Raising game.
These scenes could’ve easily worked better for the film Batman Begins yet the dialogue from this video game could’ve been better for the entire movie and it would suit the script
