I appreciate the link ^^ I'm glad you liked the recommendation, I feel like it's REALLY hard to go wrong with Faouzia and this song in particular is one of my favorite. She's always, always so clever in her lyrics. I think for lyrics 'This Mountain' is my favorite. Cuz I loved 'So mark my words before you swallow yours' that's in the chorus, and then at the end she hits you with 'So mark my words before you swallow yours just like a pill' and the different metaphors and levels of meaning to this simple sentence just blew me away. I could write an essay on that sentence alone! Man, I love Faouzia!
Hey, thanks for replying to my comment with that link, can u imagine that this song is my favorite song of All Time🤩😍, its just perfect trust me when u listen to it more it gets even better its just one of those songs. U should react to -blue da ba dee- she did a remake of the song and kinda added a middle eastern touch to it and made it sound so classy. I think you’ll love it
Why does her songs are so captivating? Why are they going so deep? She writes the lyrics by herself, so in every song she gives everything of her heart, everything she felt and she feels in this moment. That is why she is such an artist. Forget this booty shaking girls - here is the right star of a new younger generation. The world needs this.
It’s Amazing to see someone like her, who can arrange the notes and the voice so brilliantly and beautifully. I bet on both sides of brain are equally important.
Yessss raised most of her life here in Canada!! She writes her own songs.. plays everything.. is getting her engineering degree.. and above all else is a very humble and kind person!!!! She is a forced to be reckoned with for sure!!!! Thanks for the killer reaction!!!
She fluently speaks atleast 3 languages, plays piano and violin, writes her songs, works towards her engineering degree, has phenomenal voice, and she's only 20..
Really like ur analysis it's so pro and so informative I really appreciate that well done buddy, keep up the amazing work, and btw she's not middle eastern cuz morocco has nothing to do with middle east it's in north africa and it has borders with spain.
Ok. I want to hear this with a full blown rock arrangement. Electric guitars, drums, electric bass. Maybe stretch it out with some instrumental only measures or solos. I think her voice and this song could be reinterpreted in a rock style.
@Temple Music Academy - You need to hear her when she's not singing in English. she recently did a collab with Kelly Clarkson - ruclips.net/video/_uKr4zFsKsI/видео.html & the global mix with all the artists who did their own languages - ruclips.net/video/O5yu_XyfblM/видео.html. also, a vid when Faouzia was a bit younger where she's singing in french - ruclips.net/video/jnXGdx0Ew4c/видео.html. she's both multilingual and plays multiple instruments, I've seen her play the violin as well and is crazy smart with her engineering degree.
please react to Faouzia - How It All Works Out Stripped this is her most powerful stripped performance yet .it's crazy how she keeps on improving her sound
I don’t know if this is the type of music you react to (I’m a new subscriber😁), but can you please react to “Sometimes I Cry” by Chris Stapleton. Very soulful/Blues tone. The guy has incredible range in his voice.
just an fyi she’s not middle eastern she’s north african or arab. a lot of people don’t understand the difference but basically middle eastern is mainly in Asia i. e. Palestine, Iraq, Iran while north african is Morocco, Algeria, Libya. They are joined by calling both arabs.
Great reaction. I was absolutely stunned the first time I heard her sing. If you want to hear Faouzia pronounce her name the song called The Road has a short clip of her singing her name at the start here ruclips.net/video/oyhFJSaxaW4/видео.html .
