I listened to Jordan Peterson a few years ago on joe Rogan and he said he only eat meat as well. I done research and found that the carnivore diet was a thing. I also only eat meat. I lost 125 lbs in 10 months. I’ve been eating this way for the last 2.5 years I’ll never eat SAD again. SAD =Standard American Diet. You don’t NEED bread, veggies or anything other than Beef !

I am a 64 y/o woman who became almost bedridden with diffuse joint pain & body aches, fatigue, and brain fog. I heard Jordan Peterson talk about his & his daughter’s health problems, & how they all resolved on a carnivore diet. After thoroughly researching it, I took the plunge. Within 1 week I could not believe how good I felt! Initially you should only eat ruminant animals, because these animals have a 4-chamber stomach, & are able to process their food optimally. Also, be aware of “keto-flu” as you will go into ketogenesis on this diet, meaning you will start to burn your body fat on this diet, instead of glucose from the carbohydrates in your diet. (Treatment of keto-flu: bone broth, magnesium glycinate, salt & potassium. If you are on medicine for diabetes or high blood pressure, you must work with your doctor, because you’ll need to decrease your dosages of those medicines.) After being on the carnivore diet for 1 month, I started adding 1 food at a time back into my diet. I discovered I was sensitive to all grains, dairy, eggs and almost all fruits & vegetables! As I said I also found out I do better with meat from ruminant animals, as opposed to chicken and pork (what they eat may be coming through their meat). I feel better than I have in 30 years! After more research I suspect glyphosate (Roundup) caused this. ruclips.net/video/-dwWQZkJ5r8/видео.html. I also discovered that many supplements and medications contain a rice, corn or wheat starch binding agent. I’ve heard reports that some people heal after 4-5 years on this diet and can eventually add more foods back in their diet.

I applaud you for pointing out about checking with ones Doctor ,as the damage done with mixing ,or sudden withdrawal and change .
We often get overburden of taking so many meds ,that you start thinking the doctors are wrong and there is a better way ,at 62 I'm dealing with diabetes,a stroke survivor, and now cancer.
I think that it has to be what we have eaten these past 60 years is responsible or exposure to chemicals.

I'll tell you that in March of last year, I heard about Mikhaila's story, having hip replacement, autoimmune issues, etc. and I started the carnivore diet... I've had severe asthma my entire life, and been close to death at times... I can't remember the last time I've used my inhaler, and I've always been super active, but I no longer have to worry as long as I stick to carnivore (and occasional honey and berries). I couldn't make this up if I tried.

Excellent work. Something i would like to bring to your attention. Primary lymphedema. Affects 1 in 600,000, most often mis diagnosed as heart, kidney or liver. Deadly if untreated, and doctors know very little
I was mis diagnosed by five doctors. Finally, i found a smart D.O., he knew very little, but he sent me to the right people. I have lost 70 lbs in 5 months, all fluid. I was not fat, i was drowning in lymph fluid.

Oh, wow - I just found your Heavy Checklist! Watching HeavyDSparks for many months, I'd noticed an undercurrent of something deeper than the fun of heavy machinery; glimpses, here and there, of a benevolent, intelligent and generous humanity. I've been watching Jordan Peterson for even longer and am deeply grateful to him for extending my "education". So I was aware of his daughter's, his wife's and his own difficult journeys. As has happened to me before on RUclips, these threads have all suddenly met HERE! RUclips (and the internet generally) seems to be nurturing so many "communities", spread globally, moving towards making a better world despite the dross of corrupted government, business, institutions and media. Many thanks.

She is stunningly beautiful and a trooper. I started watching and listened to her father a while back. He is an incredible person and has helped change my life.
Her vulnerability and persistence is intoxicating and
Inspiring. She shows that if you really want to become better and move forward you have to own your life and be responsible for your choices.
I often hear about doctors that had no clue about peoples disorders or no outside the box (drugs) thinking. I’ve personally been to the doctors and they did not seem very reassured and ultimately I ended up curing my self with diet and cleanse.
Doctors usually just want to give you a drug and not address the situation at the core.
People eat too many carbohydrates/sugars and rely too much on vegetables for nutrition. Meat is the most nutritional meal. Some people try to make an ethical and climate change argument against meat. Meat only accounts for roughly 3% towards climate change and the ethicality is a matter of perception and perception is reality.
    Love Her……

I Started High fat red meat carnivore 4 months ago and it’s the most help I’ve ever gotten. I’ve tried everything and I mean everything. I have had CIRIS since birth and I’m 41 now. It’s like a horrible autoimmune disease. I’m definitely damaged from it now but I’m hoping I can keep healing on this diet. My healthy husband is on it now only 45 days or so after seeing my positive results however he’s doing way better then me since he was healthy to start. He is 43 and started having age related things that have just started to disappear. However my gas, bloating, IBS and colitis have calm down about 80% which is huge. I’m thankful for shows like this to keep me going. Thank you!

Great story and really good mental strength both from you Mikhaila and your family. One of the reasons food/diets aren't learned or should I say promoted enough in the medical fields is as simple as money. Pharmacies don't make money on telling people about the possibilities that food may actually be a medical treatment on itself.

Interesting to hear her story. For myself they were really pushing the removing gluten from my diet to fix some serious skin issues I was having. Basicly I would get hives so bad that it was like blisters on my hands. Felt like I was covered in fiber glass insulation all the time. Cutting out gluten worked......kind of but I would still have some issues. Through many many doctors and specialists, as well as trial and error I eventually learned that it was in fact an allergy to likely some form of sulfate based preservative according to one specialist. It's not well documented in foods but it seems to be in virtually any kind of processed food, especially grain based stuff. If I make my own bread I have no issues, but store bought stuff causes issues. I can't touch any canned soup at all.
Took about 10 or so years before I found two specialists that knew what was going on. Helped me refine what to avoid and gave me some medication to deal with the issues as there were actually two separate issues.

I'm on day 62 carnivore and although there has been a lot of steps forward mixed with steps back with my health the one thing that has stayed great since week 1 is that my mood regulation is so even and relatively easy after having had the depression and the crazy and ups and downs and struggle to find what works since I was like 6 or 7 years old. And I had been working on my gut and healing and what I eat for years and years and had made some good progress. I even had some great years in my 40s and have even been free of psych meds for quite a few years. But now it is all so much more even and consistent at age 51. What we eat matters SO MUCH.
I'm mostly quite strict with this where some people call themselves carnivore but also drink coffee and eat spices and herbs and other stuff added on ad infinitum. On the other hand I'm not as strict as Mikhaila has had to be. I have had two days that I had a couple of tiny smidgens of plant matter. I'm mostly avoiding chicken and pork and egg whites but again not completely strictly I've had some of those things maybe 4 times. After a week or two or three, I forget, I gave up cheese and sour cream. It isn't that I plan to be at that point forever. But I want to give this a good go and have some time in my life without inflammation and with a lot of healing and see later if I can ever reintroduce foods that are gone for now. So most of my diet is beef and lamb, sea salt, and water and in the last week or two a lot of egg yolks from some eggs that are definitely a step up in quality to compared to most of the eggs that people eat from the grocery.
Weirdly I am not losing weight and I do have weight to lose. But I am trying to trust the process for now and let my body do whatever adjusting and healing it seems to be working on. To be able to have my mood and behavior really well regulated and be who I really am in my personality, my beliefs, my goodwill toward others, my happiness, is an amazing thing. I could not be more grateful.
Edited to add: I love both giving and receiving craniosacral therapy. Fantastic stuff.

The results are somewhat dependent on what all the contributing factors are as to why the person has the problem. But you know when someone comes in and feels absolutely miserable and later leaves with a smile on their face and a bounce in their step it is always wonderful, always worth it to have worked as well and as intuitively as I can trying to help relieve their problems. You might try the upledger institutes website to find someone in your area from their list of folks who have taken classes with them. I know it can definitely be hard. There aren't good therapists everywhere. If you happened to live in Lake Wales FL I could bring my massage table and give you a free treatment but what are the odds?! ;)

I tried keto for a few years but it wasn't enough. Been Carnivore since January 1st of this year and I love it. It does get challenging with food prices but really when you feel so good on it you don't miss all the other crap that made you feel awful. oh yes Electrolytes are so good or Redman's salt, when tiredness or cravings kick in which isn't often these days.

So people listening to this if you have trouble with your sight and upset stomach. And you feel like you have gluten issues that might be celiacs disease. One of the first signs of celiacs disease is the upset stomach and the eyesight. My ex-wife had celiac disease for many years and there is something about four days. So if you have symptoms and you don't want to wait for a doctor go fully gluten free for four or five days and if you start to feel relief you might have celiac disease I hope this helps you

I actually get week and my protein drops really bad if I don't eat a lot of meet as well. I use to donate plasma and thats when we find out that my protein was dropping low. Low enough I would had to stop donating. Meet is really important food. And had been around even before biblical times. Fish is also a meet as well.

*_The diet in our home is certainly a meat diet. We do have two large freezers filled with so many options, with cuts for special guests, cuts that I give to the local Abbey which is where my family celebrates Mass, so besides feeding the Dominican Brothers, they feed the homeless in OK city from what we give them plus what others donate. Coyote meat is extremely low in fat and cholesterol. Coyote offers a lot of protein, vitamin B12 and is rich in riboflavin. It also has a lot of zinc and iron. While coyotes feed on a lot of meat, they also eat a lot of bugs, fruits, seeds, and grasses, leading them to be very nutritious meat. And our kids, ranging from 17-year-old twin boys, then 4 more boys aged 14 to 7. We have twin girls aged 5 & then our sweetheart who God gifted us with on Christmas day, 2020. Now for me personally, when I start building our ranch in rural OK, we pumped all our money into it so we'd no option but to feed ourselves. My wife was born in the U.S. & her folks came from the same part of Dublin I grew up in. In Ireland, potatoes are the main part of dinner & the meat to be used is worked around this. Now I do use potatoes a lot, using the same recipes my mom uses. [baby potatoes boiled, the backstrap of a coyote & whatever sauce you may use with chicken is a favorite. [I get to Florida once each year for snakes to eat. Always test them for mercury] Phyton, when I pressure cook it, I'll add some applesauce, spice, and hot pepper, which gives it a nice flavor.” I could go on all day, but people think a meat diet will get boring, not so. Now I have our stables, our home & a business that not even covid could slow down, I make time to go fill the freezer. I suffered from PTSD, not from my time in the army, but from an attempted home invasion of our home. I also had bad skin, but within 2 years of a meat & potato diet using the grill or air fryer, i am in great shape mentally & physically. Is it a coincidence? Maybe, but why do others who stick with it get the same results._*

    i really enjoyed this podcast!
and just so ya know ,i found Makayla very down to earth, intelligent without knowing who her father is…
if i’m being honest , i’ve never once sat down and listened to him debate, or just speak attentively . But i was very attentive listening to Makayla !
so i want her to know, i paid attention and was taken in by her . And what she had to say. NOT because of her dad. The most i’ve seen of her father was a short on youtube!
    and u noticed his intelligence.
For me , Makayla was much easier to relate to! she gained a new fan!
p.s. sorry if i misspelled her name.
