Jin said this once "On the day when our debut was confirmed, I decided to myself that I, who has never been an older brother in my family, will protect my six younger brothers no matter what". He has kept the promise for the last 10 years or so. Jin rarely shows his struggles and instead, he tends to show his fun side, goofing and joking around with members. He doesn't try to be the center of attention and instead, he always looks around and talks to a member who's not getting attention. But we can easily tell how much trust and respect members feel for Jin. Just like other members, BTS couldn't have done without Jin as an oldest member. Let's wait until he comes back! Don't worry Cyrus, you've got hundreds of contents of BTS that easily takes you a couple of years to cover and I am willing to follow your journey!

JIN is so BRAVE performing solo with COLDPLAY without any BTS member in front of millions of people in that huge arena and being watch LIVE by the whole world! Amazingly beautiful!
I can't thank Chris enough and I'm grateful to him for giving jin a chance to perform his love/goodbye song before he leaves. A man who really loves making music, loves writing songs for us, loves being on stage, loves his members and loves his fans had to leave everything behind and fulfill his military service in winter when he had a chance to serve in the last summer but postponed it for his fans and members. Without hesitation, he agreed with the members' proposal to hold concerts for their fandom army before they leave which delayed his enlistment.
As much as I'm sad, I'm happy too that him being in a position where he can ask for exemption, he and all of them wanted to fulfill their service which makes them a role model for their country's future generations that no matter who you are, what power you hold, you need to fulfill your responsibilities and stay grounded, be thankful for everything you have in your life.
I respect them the most, but i hate to say that i see my spring day is drifting away.
I can't be physically there for them when they enlist. But i can do one thing for sure, when they return, giving them an assurance that I've always been waiting for them, being a better version of myself, the person they'd be proud to call their ARMY, a person worthy of that label.
All thanks to coldplay to give jin a very last moment to perform in front of fans (armys and coldplayers) until he comes back. Jin had tears in the start mid and end of his performance.. and it hit us all watching him sing that how much he loves and will miss us and his members and how much we r going to miss him as well🥺💜 but nevertheless chris is a gem of a person and coldplay and bts r mirror images of each other in so many ways . Even their concert’s vibs r so similar to bts concerts!!!!
I saw Coldplay Live stream in the cinema yesterday and Jin was unbelievable. He sounded even better than this recording. Going from having no singing or dancing experience when he signed with Big Hit to being called 'silver voice' by the media and singing on stage with one of your favourite groups, Jin really is an inspiration to everyone. He really is AMAJIN!💜
Am so happy for Jin that he got sing it live with Coldplay before he goes into the military. This song has shown his amazing vocals and his love for ARMY. Have always loved his vocals and am going to really miss him and the other members. Thank-you Coldplay for doing this song with Jin.

You can really see how nervous he was performing alone infront of an audience that weren't his fans. They only rehearsed it the day before to. SO proud of him tho.

A lot of the audience is army, if you can watch a fam cam you will hear them singing along with Jin. Knowing the song came out that day. After the concert a lot of them where crying..

I always cry when I see this performance. It was so beautiful and this means a lot to Army, Jin and Coldplay because we can feel that Jin was very happy. We were sad and happy at the same time. It was a dream for him singing with Chris, and Chris has been so kind and beautiful person with BTS. I"ll never forget that moment 😞
I still can’t believe this might be Jin’s last performance before going off to the military. The song and performance made me emotional, I will wait for Jin, I will patiently wait for his return 🥹

A beautful gift from Jin and Coldplay.
The amazing thing to me is that if Jin had waited until his birthday, he might have never had to go to the Army. Two years ago when he was 28, in the midst of the debates going on about enlistment, the government passed a bill specifically for him right before Jins 28th birthday to extend his waiting period until he was 30 (as he had be given a cultural merit award along with the others) and every member used that bill two years ago. A new president took over and the ministry of defense revealed recently this year that they would make a decision again about Bts before Jins upcoming 30th birthday- many speculated they were waiting to see how people responded to their World Expo in Busan (that bts was in charge of) to influence their decision. As expected the world expo was a big success. But before anyone could let it in, Jin did a sudden turn and Hybe revealed Jin had decided he would apply to revoke the extension the government had given him. This all happened a few weeks ago. It was something the ministry of defense completely did not expect and it made them look bad to the public eye in the news, many people had been sending hate, it was even revealed Jins decision was burdensome to them- plus he hasnt applied to revoke it yet (the month isnt over) but the government has to process it and decide to approve of this when that happens. The kicker here is that the new president that was elected after Moon turned out to be involved in some shady business and citizens have been protesting in the streets and during meetings.
If Jin and BTS had been exempted under his approval, it would have looked really shady- so Jins decision came right on time as every news network and their citizens are praising him when he came out with the decision which no one knew until a few weeks ago but chris martin revealed Jin made his choice SIX MONTHS ago, yet the reveal was right before the Presidents corruptness came to light. We dont know what will happen in the future, but no one can accuse him of being anything other than an angel, a beautiful person, and someone who is willing to sacrifice his own happiness. Because he was planning to leave much earlier, but the members begged him to stay so they could perform one last time at Busan. Jin didnt want to, because if he did then he would have to be leaving now (around october/november/december or early 2023) in the middle of WINTER. Jin doesnt do well in the cold and he said that in the live he did a day ago. But his love for his band and his love for us as his fans made him stay a little longer, and gave us the chance to see him sing this beautiful song. Jin has always had a shy sparkle but one thing we know, is that he is brave. I will never be over this, I will pray for him everyday and we all will wait for him because he's been an angel from the very first time we saw him as a young college kid to this brave, beautiful person he is now. We love you Jin!
I feel like the members and jin's love for armys are holding back his decision to enlist,as he said he'd want to go during summer because he doesn't like the cold.He sacrificed so much,facing the backlash of antis.We don't deserve him.

Yes, thank you so much to Chris Martin and Coldplay for gifting Jin with this wonderful song and letting him bring it to life as a parting gift to ARMYs. The lyrics Jin co-wrote are beyond beautiful and speak directly to his relationship with ARMYs and the other BTS members, so it is so meaningful to us. I don’t know which was more beautiful…the music video filled with so much symbolism or the live performance filled with so much emotion from Jin. He poured his heart, soul and body into the last “And I love you.” I also want to thank Chris Martin for his heartfelt introduction of our Jin. For someone as respected as him/Coldplay to confess to their initial skepticism but then admit to how much joy they’ve now gotten from their relationship with BTS is really special, especially given the amount of hate that BTS undeservedly continues to receive from so many. Very nice reaction! It is a beautiful song that will stand the test of time! Jin will be the first to go and then the rest will follow so we are all looking forward to their comeback in 2025! In the meantime, the other members still have their solo work to debut and I'm sure there was also some work put into the vault for when they are away. Hopefully the time will pass quickly for them and all those that face conscription in their respective countries. It's sad that countries still feel the need to have it. I am 54yo ARMY so I may not see it, but I hope that in your and my sons lifetimes we will no longer need to have mandatory service.💜

Coldplay x BTS feel so pure and wholesome. I love the interaction between them. Feels sincere and genuine. Coldplay really has one of the biggest and highest stabdards when it comes to their songs features, collaborations, covers, and even movies or any platform that uses their songs. It's no joke because it's hard to get their approval. BTS first covered Fix You, Coldplay approved it like 3 yrs ago? Maybe that became their 1st stepping stone in reaching coldplay. And the rest was history. Congrats to Jin, gain many achievements already on its 1st day and 1st few days for his 1st official track as a Korean Soloist. 🥹🫶🏻

Hey! I started watching your videos just the other day and I'm very happy you reacted to this already!! I still can't believe I was there! It was the first time Argentine ARMYs had this opportunity and I think every one of us tried our best to be there (I know some couldn't go :( the show was already sold out when they announced this so it was very difficult with a week's notice). Anyway, the whole show was mind-blowing, Chris Martin is an incredible showman and knows what to say all the time, and Jin was so good, we were screaming so loud for him, and I think only 25% or less of the stadium were ARMYs so we had to be extra loud for him. I hope you enjoyed watching this as much as we did, and I'll be waiting for you to get to really know Jin's personality and artistry.
"Not having fear of something you don't know" is something all of us can learn. We don't have to reject someone just because you don't know or understand someone. We don't have to be closed minded...we can simply open our door our hearts and give it a chance, because something we don't know might change our life and makes us happy.

Jin is a that type of people, who can be friends with anyone as you can see in the video "Jin, the social butterfly" by SugArmyy. But he doesn't have many real friends as he said in a recent interview.
Jin is my bias because we are similar in many ways, because his beautiful silver voice and because he is kindheart person. I also have huge respect for his hard work that showed me that much can be achieved with effort. As you know, Bighit literally found him on the bus and unlike the others members, he could neither sing nor dance. He has always been humble and caring about others, practicing at night in a dance studio to catch up and not be a burden.
His song Awake once got me into the fandom. It's about not giving up.
There is also Epiphany that about selflove. His songs always have a deep meaning.
I always be grateful for everything that he brought into my life.

Just an FYI, if you had just continued watching the video that had the speech, it would have gone directly to the bangtantv version. The difference is, the English subtitles were in that version (Unlike the bangtantv version), and bangtantv/Hybe/Big HIt/BTS would have still gotten the full credit for the view and any monetization that goes with that. Just so you know. That was a beautiful Stadium Concert with the planets and the great performance.

For context - Many reactors will choose the original instead of a re-uploaded version of a song, thinking that it's better for the artist that you watch the original. While that is true for the RUclips algorithm on when it is released for viewing numbers, the monetization of either of those videos will go to the person with the copyright. So Bangtantv will get their money and credit with the original release, or with the version that the ARMY re-uploaded with subtitles. That was my point. I don't know why you chose to go to the other video, when the one I linked was the same video after the speech, just with English subtitles. That was all I was trying to say. I already get that it's not about the money with your videos.
*"Enjoy BTS More" is an ARMY that adds subtitles to BTS videos, and she tries to make it the full eperience by making sure people have extra clips when needed, or she adds description, and history, etc.* She is sweet person that I have talked to occasionally, and she is passionate about what she does. Her native language isn't English, but she wants to add English subtitles to BTS videos to help ARMYs. I keep her on my browser so I can recommend good videos with accurate subtitles. That is all. I would recommend you keep her channel handy, because she covers a LOT of BTS content that don't have subtitles, and she corrects errors and tries to make the videos better quality.
Another good one to keep handy is Bangtan Subs, they are a team of ARMY's that do subtitled English translations, and they check each others work to make sure it's correct. ARMY's like to make sure that other fans have BTS content that they can understand, and that is accurate. That is one thing I love about this community. Thank you for your reactions. 💜

@@Cyrusyami it’s an hour concert that covers Jhope’s latest album Jack in the Box. It’s seriously an amazing performance and worth seeing the whole thing. The full concert is on the channel Enjoy BTS More and it includes full subtitles, it’s a great channel for subbed live performances. I would also recommend checking out the whole album as well because he uses it to tell a story.

this was touching and wonderful and I love it so much. That being said I really hate what bighit is doing recently when it comes to sound processing. The backing track is too loud and it´s interfering with Jin´s beautifull vocals. Compare that last ´´and I love you´´ to the rest of the song.
I totaly understand having a louder backing track for songs with intense choreo, but for ballads it doesn´t sound right to me. And it is only the official audio mix, b/c when you watch the various fancams Jin is killing it live, it sounds raw and gorgeous, so good. Why do they have to alter their vocals like this I just don´t get it. The same thing with Yet to come Buttefly for example. I really hope that in the future they change this apporach and have a little faith in the guys and their great live vocals.
You are still missing so much context and background between bts and coldplay. They've met up and spent time together several times between first recording my universe and this concert.
