I love going to supermarkets when I travel abroad! I've gotten those blue Kazakh chocolates as gifts- very tasty :)
my help you,,
As a european I can confirm that the Kazakh chocolate is VERY good. I would rank it right up there with Belgian chocolate actually. I will make sure to stock up on my next visit.

Hi Eva you have reason that Kazakh chocolate is in top with the good real Belgian chocolate that you find in some real chocolate shops in Brussels !!! 👍
@@livioviper2459 Reason? Why, it tastes very very good. What other reason is there? I love chocolate and of course Belgian and Swiss chocolate is of the highest quality. I also rank scandinavian chocolate very high, but that might be personal bias as I live here... But it's not as if I am a professional chocolatier... I can only say from a personal perspective. And to me the kazakh chocolate is very good. It is kind of a middle ground between what we in europe would call milk chocolate and dark chocolate. So not as light and sweet as milk chocolate but not as dark and bitter as dark chocolate. Kind of a perfect middleground actually. So, there is my reason. Hope it helped.
hello Eva
Great Video 👍.
I'm kazakh from iran i hope to going kazakhstan next year❤️
Thanks for sharing the experience!
I guess I can go to Kazakhstan because supermarket is quite similar to Brazilian supermarket 👍🏻😅😉😊
I like this video😃👍🙏👏🌹God bless to the Kazakstan people❤
Thank you for yet another enlightening video that helps prepare me for when I live in Qazaqstan.
Gurl, I am so happy that I found your channel I’ve been to Kazakhstan, Astana multiple times now before quarantine and I MISSED IT so much so thanks for the videos brings me alot of memories 🥺❤️
why did muhammad beat his wife - he was an evil prophet
I really want to visit Almaty now. more than ever
The super market gave me costco vibes ngl
Let me know if you come
@@anetsg am coming next month how can we meet
VERY INTERESTING! Thank you for this, peace from Macau.
vegetables and fish are expensive but love all kind of teas and biscuits they have.
Watching ur videos make me miss 🇰🇿 more
👍🏻
Very similar lifestyle and cultur to my country kosovo and bosnia. Need to visit kazachstan
Welcome
I'm missing almaty🥺, your videos makes me recap my memories there.
great videos your making convinced me to come to Kazakhstan.
oh . me too
She is reporting from Almaty, the largest and arguably the best city in Kaz. They have the biggest and most modern supermarkets and shopping malls in all of Kaz. Venture outside Almaty and Astana and you'll find quite a difference- a post Soviet dystopian Wonderland!
@@wackyruss I want the whole experience modern and old.
Neville searchwell I suggest visiting Aralsk, Atyrau, and Semipalatinsk "The POLYGON" for the REAL Kazakhstan! :)
@@wackyruss thanks will try those places
This is so interesting,I am fascinated, you are so good at explaining the prices and what is popular, thank you so much I am from Canada 🇨🇦
hi how r u?
it is a very useful video Thanks greetings from Minnesota USA!!
Thank you for this video! We will move to Almaty soon, this gives me a great impression of what is available and what the prices are. Btw, the blue Kazakhstan chocolate is really coveted in the other "Stans" - we lived in Tajikistan and sometimes, we could get this chocolate and every expat was going nuts over it! :-D
The look of the grocery store in Kazakhstan has similar industrial warehouse appearance to warehouse clubs in the United States like Costco or Sam's Club (which is a membership only grocery store). The more common grocery store appearance in the U.S. does not have those high shelves and most stuff is at eye level and the boxed merchandise is in back and not visible to customers (only visible in warehouse clubs).
Thank you for your videos, they’re really informative! I also like how you compare different prices, so you can see which items are more expensive/a better deal than others. Looking forward to more!
Those same walnuts here would be over $15! Off the subject, I am obsessed with the city of Nursultan in your country. It is very very beautiful.
lets keep in mind the average salaries in Kazakstan are way lower....;-)
Guys, all products which comes from other countries like coffee , tea seamon , caviar etc. Are exporting to Kazakistan that means more expensive but if you noticed the food which are making in Kazakhstan are cheaper. And Everything Organic food.
İ think caviar is local
Yes, from Caspian sea
In America, we call the fake coffee that melts with water is called "instant coffee" and it is not good. Nothing beats the real beans. Thank you for the supermarket tour. Keep up the good work.
Right, I miss coffee of us. But in kz yes is much better)
Nice supermarket tour. Amazing selection of imported products, considering KZ is a landlocked country and they prices are by far cheaper than most countries.
👍🏻
I liked this video. Could you do a video of a Furniture Store where you can buy beds, couches, chairs, tables and T.V.s??? I would really like to see the Furniture and prices. Thanks from 🇺🇸
it is so funny to me that American products are less expensive abroad than they are here in the US
they are local made
Love from Pakistan 🇵🇰 🇰🇿❤️
allah does not exist
Just watching this makes me hungry. I love big super markets!
👍🏻
I wanna visit Kazakhstan so bad and even after this video I wanna visit the country more than ever.
This Kazakh Chocolate was so pretty! And the Supermarket is huge 😳👌
Idea for a video:
True cost of living.
What is the average salary (salary vs actual take-home).
Monthly expenses (rent, tv, internet, mobile, food, transportation, etc).
Life expenses (insurances, medical/dental/vision, something specific in Kazakhstan? )
Maybe some average salaries from different careers?
The prices do not seem too outrageous to me, but I watch this video from a different perspective.
- I easily spend $300 a week on groceries, I cook full dinners M-F, semi-breakfast (eggs, grilled cheese, veggies and fruits), various homemade soups for breakfast / dinner and lunch is usually left-overs.
- I don't buy much on "snacks" or drinks - water, coffee and honey for honey water.
Thanks for yet another great video that peek my interests!!
Nice review...thats a realy HUGE supermarkt! I love the horsemeat section...so healthy meat..low fat and high protein🙂
Many thanks for your kind information , Bangladesh.
Thanks Salta for a very interesting video. I would be happy if I could buy groceries that cheap in my country 😃. That coffee that you think that is not real, may be instant coffee, and then yes it is real coffee. I do like your videos, they are very informative and entertaining, thanks again.
Hi Maria can I ask from which country are you from
hi maria
Thank you for posting
Thanks, very interesting!
dude we have the same last name
Thanks for that look around. Food is quite cheap there. And alcohol lots cheaper than Australia. Interesting I saw the Driscoll punnet of Raspberries, which is from my area in Australia. 😄😄😄
Really? I also noticed the Driscoll raspberries because those are my favourite brand... and I live in the north of Sweden. Good to know they seem to be global.
@@evawettergren7492 Hi, just checked the company has US ownership. So multinational berrys. ✌✌✌😍😍😍
Thanks for showing us items at the grocery store. When you were looking at the various teas I was disappointed when I didn’t see Dimash Tea. Don’t they sell his tea in the grocery stores? I eventually would love to visit Kazakhstan with my family & very much enjoy your videos. Thank you. 🤗😍❤️🥰🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦💥💥
Dimas is my name
Dimash Tea?😁👍🇰🇿🇨🇦🇺🇲🇬🇧🤝
Awesome. Really good prices.
Nice supermarket tour.
With love from India ♥️✌️
Wow
Thanks for the video, I guess the caviar guys have in kazakhstan not really expensive coz the real one is around 150 bucks for 1 g in France 🇫🇷 which is overpriced due to high quality . However the only thing I would like to try in kazakhstan is the horse meat 🍖 😋 😅
😅👌
😅
Real caviar in Kz costs like 400-500k tenge 1000$ for 0,5 kilo, those are fake ones 😁
The caviar she showed was artificial. We usually don’t buy it. Natural caviar is really pricey as all over the world. It is also broadly introduced, but Russian red caviar costs approximately 10$ for 10 gr.
The "cottage" Cheese is called "Farmers Cheese".
Excelente. Im greetings from Mexico..🇲🇽🌹
What an abundant of food!
I really like your videos! Greetings from Argentina🇦🇷

Great video! I would also love to see if the prices have increased there in 2024.
Information v nice
I think that coffee is called "instant coffee" in English.
GEE, THANKS
Wow you have to go back to the alcohol section! It was huge and so many variety! Also wheres the famous fermented camels milk? This is so great!
Actually Kazakhs prefer fermented mare's milk.
Max H They actually drink both. Shubat (fermented camel's milk) & Kumys (fermented mare's milk) are both loved in Kaz!
@@wackyruss mare's milk is far more popular.
Good job
Halva is made with sesame seed paste
Prices are expensive for all that isn't local. As expensive as in Europe (France or 🇨🇭).
But the meat, wow it's so cheap!
Yeah i said the same the prices are similar to Germany i think because everything its from import
I highly doubt that prices are similar. May you guys give several examples of prices in your countries, compared to those in the video.
@@maxh7637 in Germany and Roumania we have similar prices 1 back of 10 egs are 1 ,25 euro ,2 breads are 1,23 euro,1 pack of rise its 0,65 eurocențs ,1 liter of Milk its 0.65 cents ,1 chocolate bar the Best ones (milka ,merci, schogeten, kandia, primola,Kinder bueno) its 0.65 cents i mean a Christmas tree from plastic at 1,80 meters cost 30 euro with everything add on him 1 kg of meat pork 3 euro and in general roumanians and germnas we dont eat horse food just beef, meat pork, and fishes i know italians and france they eat a lot horse meat and the Best sallamy its from horse meat but indeed its expensive her in europe so in general u find packs of 100 grams for 3 -5 euro
@@iliepetcan1736 there a lot local products too.
@@iliepetcan1736 how much do you pay for 1 kg of potato? in Kazakhstan it's about 0.3$, depends on season and city
Wow things in a grocery store aren't that expensive as here in new York City
realy!?
When we were in Astana (before the name change) we went to A local supermarket (Ramstore?) and they made us join as members before we could shop there. They also made us leave our bags in lockers out the front of the store. Seems to be very different to the supermarket you went to!
I guess you may speak about Metro supermarket? And yes bags except for women's handbags usually kept in the lockers at any supermarket.
If you have large bags with you, you should left them in lockers. It is in every supermarket
Wow, your prices are so much lower than here in the U.S., especially now in January 2022!
Nice ❤️❤️❤️
Very informative video, thank you...i was very curious about this information. How about $?? Red and White Wine?
👍🏻
Super
It will be interesting to find out per hr pay rate for supermarket worker. A typical UK 🇬🇧 supermarket worker earns £9 - £11 per hr.
Gue nonton....sapa tau ad Dayana lagi belanja juga.....
Super 👍
Nice video
Your supermarkets look very well stocked with plenty selections. This looks like a great place to spend a Year learning Russian. Thanks for sharing Speciba !
You know Kazakhstan has own language, right?
@@ElePranaityte ….indeed, they actually have several that are spoken in different parts of the Nation however, Russian is spoken and understood by most Kazakhs !
@@abeonthehill166 so? Why go to Kazachstan to learn Russian?
@@ElePranaityte …..Because especially in the major Cities and Towns , Russian is well used in everyday life !
I have never seen so cheap I'm thinking of going in June
👍👍
In the UK at least we call that not-coffee instant coffee (instant obviously because it dissolves)
Freeze dried coffee 🥰

Hello. We enjoyed your video. What would be a good gift for our guide in Kazakhstan from the US? Can you get Reese’s Peanut Butter Candy there? Thank you 🙏
Jesus, some items are expencier than in the UK
For example?
2:47 instant coffee
Maybe it’s instant coffee from Brazil 🇧🇷👍🏻😊☕️
Yes, instant coffee. In the US the most common brand is Sanka.
@@bernarrcoletta7419 Sanka is not so commonly sold in US grocery stores (at least not by that name)… Most common instant coffee brands in the US are
Nescafe Taster's Choice, Folgers, and Maxwell House.
Instant coffee is what you were referencing early in the video.

Great video! Do you think you can make a video discussing or interviewing people about what they think about the concentration camps in China? I am curious to hear what you and other people think about the Kazakhs in China.
Hi beaury
If you want to hear about that you better go to Facebook and find out many kazakh activists and journalists from Kazakhstan who fight for the ethnic kazakh rights in China. Many of their law suits have helped to reunite families and get the the kazakhs out of the cells and concentration camps. They also adopted old and made new laws to bring refugees to Kazakhstan and many of ethnic kazakhs and uighur flee last 2 years to here. Their videos are translated to English and spread across the ethnic uighur population of USA and other countries. I don't know the names, but they can be searched din English and kazakh
