Not sure if you will see this still but you literally skipped over the whole installation part of the boot going into the bracket. I’m having major trouble with it lining up correctly and have to go off based of what you showed me by putting the brackets together which I’m sure I got the right anyway
I installed the same airintake on my 2005 votar 650 and had it rejected but the bike runs like crap, when accelerating the bike bogs down and pops at at high speeds I did take it back to the mechanic and was that it’s fine and and running as it should. Any ideas or recommendations on what to do to fix the problem
I'm barely getting into bikes, but at least in cars you may need to tune it after making any changes to the fuel to air ratio. You changed an air filter, which likely affects the air volume going into the engine. Once again. I am no expert on bikes but that's where I'd start, especially in a carburated engine.
Why don't you start with YEAR, Make, exact MODEL of your bike? Why is it that (most frequently) NO ONE puts up the YEAR, and exact MODEL. Makes it VERY HARD to find relevant, topical info when trying to fix a problem. FUDGE! (only I didn't say "fudge").
This was a 2005 Yamaha Roadstar 1700. I did specify what bike it was in the first video, but will make sure to be more clear in the future. Thank you for pointing that out.
Oh look you made two videos... moved the pipe from ur mouth to the camera... now i can see the light at the end of the tunnel... literally can only see the light...

My bracket is presding against my carb. Do i use a spacet?
It was a while since I did this but I dont believe mine required a spacer.
Yea you might want to take into account where your light is coming from and where its pointed at.
