  • DevSecOps has enabled developers to be much more efficient, committing code and deploying it automatically, but it's a fantastic tool for us to go exploring and hacking in their pipelines!
Advent of cyber is a yearly event run by TryHackMe, there are 24 days of cyber security challenges in December AND prizes for competing. Last year I finished every challenge soooooo, I think it’s good. If you want to compete, join using this link: tryhackme.com/...

Frost-eau is a play on Inspector Jacques Clouseau from The Pink Panther series. Is Frostlino a play on something?

Would have been nice if you went through the side quest to fix the website as well.
I expected to learn more of the git edit/commit process.
The instructions on the site don't correspond with what happens in the lab.
Edit in pipeline editor? no go.
    Edit this file only? nope.
When I tried to edit the file, it said I had to fork (couldn't edit directly) then hit commit.
    Where is the fork file?
Do I get a branch to work on then commit that?
    Is a branch a fork?
Do I need more permissions to push this code (if I can create it) to update the site?
    Thanks for any assistance.

Side quest was beyond the scope of my videos (THM didn’t want us to release the solutions)
Fork means you’re taking a copy of the code to work on
Branches are forks on the main repository done by the maintainers
You then edit your own version (the fork) and make a pull request to the repository once you’re done
A maintainer would then accept your changes
