First, they don't really talk and just make :o faces Second, Maki reacts to the executions and deaths too much, because if this is the start of the game, she would be hiding her true self still Third, Kokichi reacts too little. Yes, he is a liar, but if this is the start of the game he would act how he acted before the bad stuff happened (Kokichi didn't act evil until AFTER he got the plan to end the killing game) Fourth, Shuichi doesn't really care Kaede died, he just had the same reaction as everyone else Fifth, Shuichi has no hat, which was kind of like the most important part of his character development Sixth, Maki shouldn't really care about Kaito at this point because they didn't have training yet Seventh, the fact they don't react to the two most unique deaths in the franchise (Korekiyo's because Monokuma got rid of his ghost/spirit and Kaito's because the execution failed) Eighth, they don't question like anything that happened, like, in the game they see the executions and are like "how tf did that happen" But even with those flaws I still think it's really good and I love the character designs, they're really cute!

I'm sorry I didn't make the characters react exactly, I'm not very good at doing so. i know this answers aren't literal but these are the facts I can gain from the top of my Head, so please work with me one that 🩷 I appreciate you telling me so I have more of a understanding with their reactions. But I do appreciate the words about my design's, thank you! (also about the hat, I got rid of it so you can see Shuichis reactions better!)
