    Have you thought about porting your number to Magic Jack?

      @@acoustic61 right now it works again. I didn’t like the Magic Jack app, I used it before and I had so much trouble with connection.

      @@EverythingIsBoffo I've had my number for over 20 years. Ported it to GV 10 years ago. I love the convenience of GV. Can access old text messages and voicemails from anywhere. Can make a call from any device, computer etc. but would hate to lose my number and go through the hassle you had to. Thinking of porting it back to a cell carrier and just getting a number that GV provides. This way if they suspend my account, It's no big deal. Cell carrier generally gives better call quality too. IMO, each person should retain onwership of their phone number regardless of account status with a carrier etc. FCC should require this.
