That really depends on the sailing and time of year, but in would guess that it wouldn't be drastically more. Especially if they have a kids sail free promo going on. And we always recommend the inside room for the kiddos.

Are all Mariner 2.bedroom suites in the rear of the ship?
How does this room compare in price with getting say three interior rooms for a family of 7?

Does this one have a roof of any kind? I like to sit outside when it rains, it looks uncovered.
This specific balcony is not covered. The extra sun is a real bonus on sunny days, but you are correct about the rain shelter.

Does the sliding door from the living area to the master bedroom lock ?
If memory serves, the sliding door into the dining/living area does not lock.
