ooo this is beautiful. Nashville is only about two hours away so these animals definitely resonate with me. I didn't know they didn't have chipmunks over where you are. A lot of people hate them because they can be destructive but I think they're so adorable. I used to feed them unshelled peanuts by hand on my deck and they could fit about five whole peanuts in that teeny tiny little mouth at a time! Thanks for the walk through.
That sounds so sweet Rachel 🥰 the only chipmunks I know are Alvin Simon and Theodore 🤣 I think they’re similar to squirrels though?! We have lots of those (they make Frodo bark and chase them up and down the garden).
@@JessicaandtheMoon We have squirrels too and they're also my little buddies but chipmunks are probably a third of their size and they have these little cute racing stripes down their backs. The stripes make all the difference. My chipmunks don't sing like Alvin though. Gonna have to start training them on that.

Yes Clare, there’s something so intriguing about that combination of plant and animal. That’s what got me too! Emotional is such a good way to describe it. It certainly wasn’t a fully thought out mental response I had to this 🤣 I hope you like the deck when it arrives ❤️
My deck arrived the other day and it is beautiful. I'm a sucker for animal based decks. I took Jessica Roux's art class on Domestika and fell in love with her illustrations there, so it's lovely to have this deck to work with too 😀
