I’m out…too warm for me, in the photos I didn’t think the palette would come out orange like that and the same with the illuminating powder, so I think i’ll just buy the Chanel N5 huile d’or and the nail top coat.

You’re doing better than me Jennifer, I haven’t bought any CHANEL for a long time. Only thing I bought was the new foundation with the little beads. I wanted to get the new eyeshadow, but I stopped myself because of the price points on limited edition releases are enough to make me stop dead in my tracks. To many other brands that have better packaging and formulas.
I’m definitely being a lot more particular about items that I do choose to buy. It’s tough when the prices keep going up too.

Honestly, after watching several reviews about this collection. The only thing i want will be the lip lacquer rose mystere..glad i can save alot this holiday😆

I really like those lipsticks. I agree with you on the collection. I don’t plan to get anything except maybe one of the laques closer to Christmas if it’s still available. I won’t feel too sad if they sell out beforehand 🤷♀️
The lipsticks surprised me, in a good way! I thought the red was more brown, but I do love the shade! It's definitely something different! I understand completely - it's kind of underwhelming...
I bought the eyeshadows just for the gold one, I’m planning on wearing it w to complement other quads but I agree, not very exciting holiday collection ….I’m more excited about the Chanel holiday gifts sets!!

I didn’t buy much but I did get the eyeshadow but only because those are my jam. I honestly loved the Dior collection so much more and spent more on that than Chanel. Now the holiday sets - those I am more interested in.

I love the highlighter on you Jenn! I’m still not sure if I’ll get it, it looks too warm to me. Also proud of myself for resisting both Chanel and Dior holiday collections.. for now 😂 but I really like the warm tones in the Chanel quad even though the entire collection doesn’t remind me of the moon at all.

So true, moon is associated with silver and sun with the gold. Though Chanel launched this golden celestial unsuccessful advertising company with perfume but still eagerly continues this contradiction. Collection is definitely beautiful, but sunshiny 🌞 ☀️
