This was a fun episode! It amazes me how you journal all the books you have read, you’re so organized knowing where all these books are. Such an interesting list. This is why I enjoy your channel! OMGOSH……you can see Socks is pacified by your pleasant voice. That’s adorable. Take care and have fun❤❤❤

That was great . I'm onto Klara and the Sun, not far into it yet , but I think it is going to turn sinister .

Thing I dug about Body Snatchers... the invasion is somehow curtailed...but not by the main characters. Maybe some other people? The pod-people just left in exasperation? Who knows? 16:26

Added a couple of books to my wishlist :) Thank you! Tip (don't know if you have read this): Tiepolo Blue by James Cahill. I really enjoyed that one. Have a good weekend!

"People don't always mean the best." "You can either be a help to them or an obstacle." "The most dangerous come in beguiling forms."
That precise word "obstacle" has stuck with me and helps me better understand. Yes, for selfish people, you only exist to be their owned object or else an obstacle. "Obstacle" is too true. Thanks, Paul.

The Starless World - my favourite Star Trek book. Re the lovely Socks... wanting to eat all the time might indicate an overactive thyroid... very common in older cats, and in my experience, Tuxedo cats... you maybe should get him to the vets, Paul, for a check-up and probably a blood test, especially if he is losing weight despite the constant need for food.

Thanks Paul for your honest yet knowledgable reviews. Have you read PF's The Bookshop? Quirky characters and other elements. Patrick
