I remember watching this and just thinking that I KNEW that he would get better bc he sounded so confident and i thought everything would be okay, but it wasn’t
I know the way he got closer to the mic and the tone is so funny it's strange laughing at this. I lost my mom to cancer after they stalled on spleen lymphoma and I spread so much they removed some liver stomach spleen then it was in her sternum and she was gone one month later. The way he says "huahhh?" is exactly like my mom. I miss that sound. I miss my mom. My daughter loved this group and the Minecraft stuff during these years and it really hurts. Feels like it all fell apart and the world fell apart and I lost my mom and then it's back to business as usual. It's felt so grey the last four years.

It's a great ability I think, and it doesn't make us feel as miserable when we find out about it. He informs us about his well-being while not making us fully depressed but it's still horryfying to listen to

@@doctor_alfa i think the reason they presented him that option was it might slow the cancer down, i think at this point the cancer was too far to stop and he knew he only had a few months. amputation mightve brought more months but wouldve reduced quality of life.

Likely just being pragmatic. Ultimately being optimisitc or pessimistic has its ups and downs, realistic however is the best of both worlds and the only negatives are that it omits emotion for the most part. He probably has come to terms with the fact that if everything goes bad he dies and 1 step above that he has 1 arm for life. Then the best scenario is the current one he got which is that he lost 1 collarbone, some muscle(s) and the cancer is hopefully 100% gone. Still have to respect the man though.

Likely just being pragmatic. Ultimately being optimisitc or pessimistic has its ups and downs, realistic however is the best of both worlds and the only negatives are that it omits emotion for the most part.
He probably has come to terms with the fact that if everything goes bad he dies and 1 step above that he has 1 arm for life.
Then the best scenario is the current one he got which is that he lost 1 collarbone, some muscle(s) and the cancer is hopefully 100% gone.
