The reason he survived so long was because he had really great doctors and they tried their best to get rid of the cancer as much as they could

If you've watched Tommy read his will on the smp, he makes jokes from beyond the grave through the game he loved so much. Technoblade was truly irreplaceable and left a dent in the world. I remember the day it happened most of my school was quiet, upset, and shocked. He will be missed

I don’t know who will read this but I have to get this off my chest. My mom was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and just seeing Techno be so nonchalant about it just gives me a spec of hope for my mom. Thank you Techno’s family for being so strong. Technoblade never dies.

The reason why it was an option is because of full-blown amputation would almost ensure the full tumor was removed but an arm salvage procedure would almost but not 100% ensure that the full tumor was removed and there might be still cancer in the arm somewhere else

Sadly, they already knew by that point that he only had a few months left to live. From the very beginning he only had a 16% chance of survival, the cheery facade was just to protect us. The amputation wouldn't have increased his chance of survival because he already had no chance. I believe Technodad said in a Reddit AMA that the doc advised them against the amputation so he could have a better quality of life for the remainder of his time. Real sad stuff, but at least what happened wasn't because of a wrong choice
