I like rings (I have this exact same Filofax) as well as disk bound planners and I have been known to take apart bound/book planners to put on disks etc. But with the thin, delicate Tomoe River paper I question the durability of your setup. One reason why I use my Hobonichi Counsin as a book. I admire your bravery and am interested in seeing how well this holds up every day use
Hi, this is the second time I have watched your video , I have a few questions. Did it take a while to punch your holes & do you bring this note book with you every where & if so is it heavy?
Really like how this looks. It’s so tempting to do. Have you thought about making slits at the punch holes then you will not have to pop open your rings to remove a page.
A dupe is a great idea! I wanted the Tomoe River paper so it made sense to have it all in one with the Hobonichi - and I’ve figured out how to book bind it at the end of the year for storage :)
@@Lorvina1 oh yes! I may have misspoken - when I mean flat I mean super flush against the table. So the raised ledge when writing in the book is enough of a bother for me 😅

Side note: I love your nails!
The planner looks great in a ring bound ☺️
Thank you! And for my nails I paint falsies - much easier to maintain that way haha
Such a great idea and I love the aesthetic! Congrats on your first video, you did great!!!
Thank you so much!! 🥰
Very smart! I personally wouldn’t do it because the rings would be in the way.
Now this is different

I hadn’t till now! I think it’d be a bit tedious for me to do for the whole page, but maybe next year I’ll find a different hole punch :)
Oh woww , this is good 👍🏻
I did this but I used photoshop to create the hobonichi dupe. I didn’t buy a hobonichi to cut them. I personally prefer a book than a binder.

New subscriber here. Hope to see this planner in action. :)
Yay! I’m really looking forward to filling it out in the new year :)
PS: Most Weeks lay perfectly flat, only the ones with a "Softcover" don't stay flat as easily.@@Paperemm

Promo SM 🎉
Your nails are not beauty 🤨, but the hobo in ringplanner is an interesting idea!
