Alternative ending He allowed her to leave and is cut off and because hes a baby she won't get anything so she has to take a regular job. The baby years later beomes a young adult and sees her at her job and she's older and bitter because she doesn't want to take care of herself
@clemmiebell9408 I would rather have Raymond raise Harmon than trust Flora with him! And besides, when baby Harmon becomes an adult again, I hope he doesn't make the same mistake twice.
Wow, thanks! I swear I have never seen this episode before. I thought I had seen them all. Actually, there is one with George Takei I haven't seen. It was barred from the syndication cycle long ago. But this one I just missed. Anyway, thanks for another great review. I'll have to see if I can find it online somewhere.
This episode was also kept out of syndication reruns for decades, similar to The Encounter from season five (the George Takei one you referenced). In this case it wasn't due to politically/culturally controversial content. It was because of some lawsuit with someone disputing the source of the story's inspiration and alleging plagiarism. And I guess they just chose to hold it back to avoid more drama and the courts. Apparently it was placed back in the syndication to join the rest of the episodes in 1984, but for whatever reason even into the 2010s it's one I rarely saw reruns of on TV.
I can understand why Dr. Raymond hated Flora, his sister-in-law. He saw her as she truly was a narcissistic gold digger who only married his brother Harmon for his money. I felt sorry for him because he is so in love with her that he lets her treat him like a doormat! As for the ending, I felt that Karma came back at Flora because now she has to dote and care for Harmon the way he did for her! The only reason that he wanted to be young again was to please her, not himself. If you're worried that she will mistreat Harmon as she did before, Raymond will see that she will pay for it dearly if she is an abusive parent.
I like this episode, but the one thing that has irked me about it for decades... how in TF did the serum turn Harmon's clothes and shoes to baby clothes and shoes at the end? lol Also not sure I'd want that woman raising my brother from a baby.
Wonderful review; enjoyed it immensely.
Thank you!
9:34- Light up that Pall Mall, Raymond! 😉

If Flora did leave and was forced to go back to work, who would take care of Harmon?
@@melissacooper8724 his brother duh
@@DoubeEdged7 Don't you mean her brother-in-law?

Agree with your review a very entertaining episode and one of my favourites

Thank you so much! Good luck in your search, I believe the series is on the CBS streaming service.

How is Raymond going to explain his brother's disappearance?
