I can relate to Riff when he talked about his day job and the trust the company has in him to get the job done. I work for a high rise window cleaning company and over the years have developed a strong enough relationship and level of trust that they pretty much allow me to run my own route. It's a very rewarding position to be in, but like the old saying goes, "With great power comes great reaponibilty." Always do your best even when you think no one is looking
Oh man this hit so close to home. Falling asleep at the wheel was a problem for me for years. I worked a lot of hours and often would barely make it home. 75 percent of the time I would be in the driveway not remembering any of the drive. There were so many almost accidents and I actually did get in one accident with my son in the car. It was bumper to bumper and we maybe were doing 15 mph and I fell asleep hit the guy in front of me. He got out of his car cussing at me, pounded his fist on my hood. This was a big dude that looked like he played professional football. But when he saw my son in the back asleep he said just be more careful next time. Pretty sure he would have beat me to a pulp. When I finally got hired on at my full time job as a permanent I quit my second job. It was a huge relief and after a few weeks my sleep slowly started to recover where I didn't fall asleep anymore. Now if I am tired and need to drive I take a nap before taking off or have someone else drive. I am lucky to be alive.
I got married in a suit and a bonk shirt 😂
