Those tones were outrageously good, don't think I've seen you visibly enjoy an amp review so much since the Orange Rockerverb which was quite awhile back.
Makes me miss my Boogie Mark IIc. 😢 Had some of the same mojo 50/100 watt switchable, interactive tone stack, graphic EQ...bestial push and bottom end. Had a crazy EV speaker, weighed 10,000 lbs. Princeton sized back breaker, loud as Rock’n Roll! Hard to open it up to a volume where it was breathing without a revolt from the band. Would love to be able to play with it now, so much more experience dialing in an amp.
I am not feeling so bad about my tone if that's considered the cream of the crop, still a nice amp and has something going in the midrange which is nice. My new Carr slant 6v does anything and everything in spades.
What does the flip switch do that says “lead”. Last switch I understand to the left is the bypass one. But does the one labeled lead do what the crs do by changing to different front ends?
Your demographic, not of people who want this kind of clean amp. This two-rock amp has an SSS dumble-ized '60s fender vibroverb vibe. Its not an amp with a '80s or even '70s dumble vibe, man. Its the iconic '60s beast that even Howard Dumble never got his head around. But the difference between this fantastic two-rock amp and any vintage '60s fender either real or imangined, untouched or dumblized, IS IT IS MADE FOR STRATS only. LEO FENDER NEVER VOICED FENDER AMPS FOR JUST STRATS. HE VOICED THEM FOR ALL GUITARS OF THE DAY AND ESPECIALLY GIBSON ES-335's!!!!!. Two-rock is voiced for Fender Strat guitars not es-335s. Demo an es335 thru this two-rock SSS and prove me wrong. You will not
Such an odd comment. I always felt the opposite as you do and this isn’t an SSS anyway. Robben Ford had beautiful tones with a tele and les Paul while Joey Landreth uses this amp and is mind blowing with humbuckers
@@mccauley6027 I can't recall what I was thinking 4 years ago except that I drove 100 miles to test drive a Bloomfield w/o pedals and thought it did nothing but bark and boom with my es-335 style guitar, like so many post Leo Fender 60's era amps. One of Robbin Ford's Dumbles, #102, was supposedly voiced with semi-hollows with humbuckers played clean in mind. Maybe it was made when Ford was still debating playing jazz vs blues.

Amazing sounding amp. Wonderful tones to be had
Some tasty playing and demo John! "Like a 12 year old at GC on Saturday afternoon" good one....
That amp sounds awesome, both clean and dirty!
Dirty starts at 10:48
no one cares
@gheddi IM ABOUT THE BEAUTIFUL CLEANSSSSSS
"like slipping into a warm bath of tone" Jesus John that was great
Great sounding amp. If i wasn't a bedroom player I would love to get one of these along with a Friedman.
Go for it. Life is too short. Eat cake for breakfast and play a 100w half stack in your bedroom.
Good Amp GOD, the drive channel with the bypass 💥
Note to Two Rock: I would totally buy a John Bohlinger Signature "Hearing Loss Special"
Yes please.
Yes, my neighbors hate me.
Love these amps so much!!! My mission If I choose to be dedicated to save for one! Yes!
Why when you can buy a blues jr!
Now that was some playing I really liked . . .
Awesome John, love yer playin!
Those amps sound great with any EQ settings it I seemed to like the EQ flat across. Stacks great with pedals.
Nice vid!
WOWy me want one.
Beautiful clean tone

Sounds good like a blues jr . Its a smart purchase.
John, why the '13' on the tele guitar? Amp sounds amazing. And so do you.
Johns so xcited he 4got the strat demo............................:)
The layout of the functionalities of tis amp look a lot like those of the very first CRS V1.
Really like the clean channel, the lead channels breakup is kind of "crackley" for me.
Two Rock you make good cookies!
Drum MACHINE!
what song is he playing at the beginning almost sounds like a jazz version of van Morrison
Sounded like Summertime.
16 tons

John you said strat tones... what happened?
The strat had to clock out early to pick up its kid at school, and apologizes for the inconvenience.
Heyman Heyguys understandable
John
Drum machine...???
Nice tones... just a bit pricey at $4199
Thunder Buddy ouch!

Sounds right to me.

Thin, raspy toned demo
