It's not just the Open University. The plague of wokery and its intolerance is rife in every college. Even the most esteemed institutions of Oxford and Cambridge are deeply afflicted by it. Although, the OU Summer School was always known for its depravity, even from the very start. For some reason, mature students are often the most randy on campus. And the kids, being kids, just want to play - but only games that two can play.

To compensate, I have splashed out on the bag for life (the wife) by treating her to a couple of new floral patterned housecoats from Harvey Nichols, several hats, together with a number of fancy hat pins and brooches, along with a couple of pairs of sensible brown shoes and booties.
I have also been encouraging her to talk in the clipped and somewhat stern manner of Mrs Mack but she's having none of it, preferring to spend her time attending her pilates and gin classes with her wizened old cronies. She's such a selfish spoilsport at times. I only wanted her to engage in a spot of Mrs Mack cosplay for an hour or so while she bossed me about.
