Controversial as he is, Richter has always been my favorite artist of all time. Great collection of his portrait work!

He got so many skills. I first only knewes him for his abstract works because I am an abstract painter too. As I realised what skills he got in portrait painting I was really amazed

the reason why Richter became famous all over the world and why he is considered one of the most important artists of modern art is because of his figurative paintings not for his abstract paintings. it blows my mind that there are people who know Richter but don't know his figurative works🤦 which are the most important pieces he made and are what made him one of the greatest painter in the history of art.
