Tips and tricks on planting garlic and growing the largest garlic bulb. Here I show a DIY fertilizer and how I prep my soil before planting garlic. A guide to massive garlic harvest.
Grew garlic for the first time last year. Was fun but I didnt take into account how I would harvest mid-summer. Time to make some more beds for me lol Love all your vids! Thank you!
1st time gardener here and I have learned so much watching your videos. Love all of your videos!❤ Grab my notebook and pen as soon as see you post. THANK YOU!!!!
The most beautiful garlic I've ever seen. I will get some like that when i get the process right. For now, I get mine from my little Asian market. 🙏 Normally I would blend all of that while it's still moist n use it right away, w compost on top of it. I went through my canned herbs yesterday n made potash. I will try this method next, thanks. 🙏
lol!!! You said sell, I start checking!!! Had to watch video again, you said maybe, lol!! I know they'll go fast if you decide to. Thanks for sharing fam!!!
Thankyou for the reminder, need to get sorted this week. Just got a new allotment and was wondering what to start off this time of year. Greeting from the UK.
The goal is to have the entire garden area on solar power. The Bluetti is just the a mobile unit. I want to run the entire garden house on solar. thanks for your message.
What's up Broke.... October garden tour will be up next week. I'll show some of my citrus for the 1st time. The goal is to grow citrus in ground. Thanks for the pointers Bro.
@@BrokeFarmer I also found out what my big citrus tree is. Poncirus trifoliata -10 degrees. Lots of cold hardy citrus are grafted to this rootstock I already have my 1st graft looking perfect. I airlayered my trifoliata and put a Buddha hand on it. Gonna be great content for next year.
Good morning, question. Do you keep any garlic? What made you decide to plant those particular ones? Right now I'm watching grind up pellets and bananas. Have an awesome day
😂😂 this just posted six minutes ago and I just finished putting in 72 cloves. I always try to get them in on Columbus Day, (just as a reference point, not for any celebratory reasons)
Hi, I found your channel surfing because I am getting ready to start my own garden. And I heard you say that you might sell some of your garlic . I was going to order some, garlic 🧄 but I see how big yours garlic has gotten and was wondering how much would you sell yours for????
Hi dear.. new subscriber.i watch your video plant make as wetting agent for soil. I bought a yucca plant, it's indoor. You were outside. It does mattar indoor or outside??
What's your advice for fertilization? I only have a week or so to plant my garlic and I didn't prepare my beds. I know you stated the nutrients would break down over the weeks..but I don't have that type of time. I waited too late to prepare.
You have time. I don't grow with synthetics so I can't really recommend anything but you have time. The only thing your garlic will do if the weather is consistent is focus on root development this time of the year. As temps warm up in the Spring, that's when the bulb formation really kicks in. To plant now. Any all purpose organic fertilizer like a Garden tone. Some bone meal for bulb formation and worm castings to help break the organics down and fertilize. Lastly, some black kow compost. Add a tablespoon of each product to your garlic planting hole and fill the holes on top of the garlic with the black kow. "DONE"👍🏽
@@growingoutthebox I know I didn't ask this question, but, I was goina. Word for word TY And another question. We put down a good 8's of straw every year, and the Garlic still grows. I left most of it on, once sprouted, 2 Springs ago, as it was proving to be an outstanding weed barrier. Good Garlic. We used it all, even though there were small black spots on the outer skins. I'm pretty sure it was mold. It makes sense to start off strong mix heavy on the phosphorous, at time of planting for strong root development. Then switch over to balanced, to strong nitrogen for big healthy, bulbs. So if you could recommend a liquid mix for feeding. That would take some of the pressure on my back. For weeding a 4x8 bed holding 162 plants, well a back brace will have to do. I may have missed it, but is that all Elephant Garlic you might be selling? TYFS Keith. Mark n Rosa
Alfalfa is beyond just an all purpose organic fertilizer which has a NPK of 3 -2-1 on average. It has a compound in it called Tricontinol which is a hormone plant stimulant. It is an excellent soil conditioner that encourages microbial activity in the soil. I only use Stanlee organic alfalfa.
