- how to ac voltage and dc voltage in one circuit
In the video, I show how to use 2 voltages in a control circuit.
The video shows three 3 components Contactor, relay, and timer. the contactor and relay the coil is 12dc and the timer is ac 240v.
In this circuit, the timer uses ac to control the relay, and the relay uses dc 12v to its coil and the coil of the main contactor.
timer on delay and off delay explained
How does an on-delay timer work?
With ON-delay operation, the Timer receives input and then an output signal is an output by switching the Timer contacts after a set time delay. This name is used because there is a delay between when the input signal is received and when the output signal is output.
Difference between a delay timer and off delay timer?
In On Delay Timer -After The Input Is Turned On There Is A Delay Before The Output Is Turned On. In Off Delay Timer -After The Input Is Turned Off There Is A Delay Before The Output Is Turned Off.

Dear my darling I'm very interesting to watch your video playing about the electrical installation. I have a more interesting I would like to know more about 3phase air compressor auto on off with 11 pin phase failure.
For sure can you explain for me this on timer can I supply them Ac and DC or I can supply only Ac on timer
Awesome 💯
Informative and useful post like it will be a good
Thanks for the video very informative. Can o use the 12v was AC current from the transformer or I need to use a rectifier diode for the timer
A timer has both ac and Ac because the coil you power with ac A1andA2 and number 15 and 16 you used dc
YOU CAN MAKE BIG PANEL OF INDUSTRIAL
On the relay Where do you connect diode

Hello David
I am a fan of your videos and need your input for a diagram to control an industrial ice machine. Current one is very problematic. Its three phase.
It runs following;
1) 1 25hp bitzer compressor
2) 2x Condenser fan motors
3) 2x Evaporator drum motors
4) 1x small conveyor belt motor
5) 1xwater level control.
Would you help with a diagram incorporating a phase failure relay and push button switches/indicator lamps.?
What's the different between transformer and power supply?
Tramsformer steps down or up voltage while power suply usualy converts AC to DC voltages.
Wow i have learned something again, we love your content here in Johannesburg SA
good job bro , may God bless your work, actualy yuve helped me alot because i do maintenance and your teachings have helped me alot thanks again .. Bro i had a question. i installed an ATS somewhere at karen sometimes back buh the generator's solenoid switch keeps on brewing , what might be the problem, kindly assist, thanks God bless you
Hi Bro do I need 2 separate MCB to monitor 2 separate heating element that take 2000 watt each or a single high amp MCB can do a better job?
Hello my feiend very nice toturial very clear and informative thank you for this sharing..
Thanks for watching
THANK YOU FOR GIVEN US INFORMATION
Super super thankyou sir
Nice, thanks .
Nice one bro
Why do we use DC in such a circuit
There are valid reasons like for my case the Components I used were DC rated, when you have both sources of power being Generators it makes sense using DC
And also Dc voltage has good characteristics than Ac, so can be good for control circuit.
Thanks for watching.
Bravo
Amazing
