I still remember when I used to listen to the cassete recording extra loudly, and my.mom used to respond secreaming her lungs out to stop what I was playing. My mom is still around, but I guess she will not complain that much now since she is losing her hearing. We have all been growing older, but still we are young at heart. Thank you this channel for making my evening during this virus outbreak.
Well, obviously you can tell the constriction and resonance point changes when he does that type of scream, he also controls it as you can still understand his words, i would have to say he is using a a mix type voice to enable him to reach the higher pitch and then he adds the rasp to it as an effect, it's very cool as it doesn't sound like someone trying to scream falsetto...it has balls instead^^.
Why....why is he so good???? Screaming is EVERYWHERE in metal today. But I have yet to see another singer who can do a pitched scream with vibrato! It's intense. Can anyone name the technique Bach uses to scream. It's obviously different to most hardcore "singers" I would love to be able to but a name to it.
layne staley (rip) was also known for an excellent pitched scream with vibrato/agility. and yea it is the coolest technique lol i also wish i knew the name of it. most screamers tend tend to use vocal fry, which makes adding pitch harder especially in the high range. my guess is he might be using a healthy scream that doesnt occur in the throat/false chords like most screamers do but actually in his head somewhere (maybe soft palette ? lol idk).
Fuck without all the shitty guitar players and mixing engineers fucking him up damn he still hits the notes easily and the only thing thats really different is tone on the high notes (not a shocker considering this song is so high and hes pushing 60 and needs a different technique to make them easier to hit) and his distortion technique and it sounds fucking awesome hes still got 110%.
I agree, he hasn't sounded in his prime since Slave to the Grind. The fact that his voice matured though doesn't make it bad though; he just can't get his pitch as high as he used to. I personally love Kicking & Screaming and all of Bach's work.

Baz has lost his powerhouse voice and by listening here its obvious auto tune is used in the studio for his new albums.

He's pushing 50, your voice deteriorates as you get older. I think he's hitting those notes pretty good, assuming I'm 14 and I can't hit those notes for shit.
